Powered by a 5.7 Mercruiser Inboard. Ready for restaoration. The decks are soft and need to be replaced. This will require removing old deck and replacing the plywood and lumber. Basic carpentry skills are needed to accomplish this. Then apply fiberglass cloth and resin to seal deck then paint and splatter paint over to make non skid. This is how the factory deck was done. It is pretty simple. Just be sure the water can run overboard away from cabin. The only tricky part are the hatches. They originally are set level with deck with trough like gutter under seam edge to collect and plumb the water in hoses through the hull over board. The cabin is pretty much original. The motors need to be re-commissioned due to being in storage for years. The 5.7 GM Marine Crusader V drive system is a low maintenance design. The V drive transmission itself is missing and needs to be replaced. There has been water standing in hull from time to time while in storage. The boat last was running over five years ago. The price is low do to the boats deficiencies. We will part the boat out and recycle if it does not sell because we have sold the property where the boat is stored. Save this classic. It is the same as in the movie Cape Fear except this boat has the fiberglass gel coated inner liner cuddy under salon where as the Cape Fear boat had a storage area only under salon. This is the Gibson model but the Gibson company sold identical boats under the Silver Queen and Thunderbird names. The pictures were taken at different dates. The most recent pictures are of the boat on a cloudy day showing mildew all over the boat with many bottom pictures taken that same day. These are to the found scrolling to the right.
