It would make a good family cruiser or fishing boat with the fold away aft seat and large open aft deck. This has always been a local, Great Lakes freshwater boat. She is in good condition, and shifts and runs properly. The hull shows no signs of abuse or damage. She would benefit from a general clean up and polish to make her look her best. The canvas consists of a convertible top, side curtains, and back drop. They are in serviceable condition, but back drop will need replacing soon. The cockpit seating is in good shape with only one minor seam separation that can easily be repaired. The cabin is clean and in good condition. This boat runs great! 1979 Allmand Allmand 31 Tall Rig Sloop Allmand 31 Tall Rig, 3 Private Cabins, was $29,900, first $19,995, Survey 2015: excellent, headroom 65. Beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, and enhanced wherever possible, this Allmand sloop is a steal. 3GM Yanmar 27hp. Diesel (2009) twice as powerful as original engine. Length 30 9, beam 11 4, Shoal draft 3 10. Originally Tom Allmands personalized boat. It has aesthetic touches and upgrades not seen in any but the most expensive yachts. Surveyor stated it was more like a 10 than a 30 yr. old boat. The spacious interior (width at WL comparable to a 40 yacht) is virtually all solid teak, including 6-panel doors between the 3 private cabins, beautiful teak parquet floor throughout, teak side paneling, shelves, bulkheads and cabinets give it a warm inviting ambience. The exterior has a roomy, T-shaped cockpit w. Edison s.s. wheel and teak table w. folding leafs for gracious cockpit dinning (both have new covers). Can be comfortably sailed in wet weather with Dodger and attached Bimini. At anchor, vinyl + mosquito netting side curtains attach to make cockpit into enclosed living space. With 35lb CQR plow and 22lb Danforth, anchoring is safe and the new Lewmar anchor windless (2014) makes it easy. It has been maintained with 2xyearly waxing, shrink-wrapped in winter, all woodwork varnished, bottom painting, non-skid repainted and reupholstered cockpit and interior cushions. All line can be lead to cockpit and controlled with 7 wenches, two of which are 2 speed self-tailing, making it possible to single hand. Surveyor states hull and deck are solid and dry, and rigging is unfrayed and in excellent condition. Much equipment updated or replaced. We bought this boat in 1991 for family cruising, because of its spaciousness, comfort and safety. We've comfortable roomed with 3 children and all the provisions necessary to keep everyone happy, with a weeks + supply of provisions, three inflatable kayaks, fishing tackle, collapsible bicycles, etc. We've safely sailed, albeit unintentionally, in 50 kt. gales. As a tri-cabin, it can comfortably sleep seven, two in each bed (lengths 7- 64). Each cabin can be completely closed off and has its own screened hatch. 1997 Bayliner Meridian 3388 33 feet, loa 40', 11'6" beam, 2'8" draft, upper and lower helm, hydraulic steering, well built heavy (16000 lbs) boat. Brunswick owns Bayliner, Sea Ray, Mercruiser, Mercury Outboards, Cabo, Hatteras, and Boston Whaler. All made with the same materials and engineering. Boat is almost all original, all original upholstery, fair condition some upholstery may need replacing but is good enough for me. 2 marine AC units are ice cold, stereo for upper and lower, dual steering stations, new bottom paint. BOAT RUNS GREAT! Boat has the original carpet, and is in good condition. Big kitchen with double sink, gas burners and oven, microwave, lots of stroage area, , hot water heater. The windows do not leak, never have! No damage history on the boat. This boat brand is now called Meridan, they are high quality boats going for high prices. This has straight shafts, NOT A V-DRIVE OR OUT DRIVE. This has straight shafts, 1.5 inch diameter shafts, dripless shaft seals, ZF gears (they drip some, but very little), motors spin the same way and counter rotating is done in the port gear. Bilge is very clean, I have never seen the bilge pumps work because theres never any water in there. All the Bilge pumps and switches were replaced a year ago. Batteries 1 year old, 3 of them. Very stout rudders and struts, new cutlass bearings. It has the small block GM Mercruiser 350 C.I. , 5.7 liter gas engines, small block chevys GMC, the most reliable marine engine ever made. 1000+ hours on the engine hour meters from new, however it did have new long blocks in 2007? I have no documentation on that. Motors are fresh water cooled, have new risers, run perfect start easy, no leaking/burning/smoking oil. Trawler economy! 3 MPG at 7.5 knots, 2.5 GPH, then 16 GPH at 20 knots. Boat does have some minor cosmetic issues that you cant see with a camera, scratch and chip here and there, all typical with a 17 year old Florida boat! What attracted me this boat was the King size bed in the mid cabin (under the salon) and the large V-birth, easily sleep 6+. It's a real king size bed too! Has Raymarine ST6001 autopilot, Standard Horizon large screen GPS chart plotter, depth finders at both stations, windless with foot switches, VHF, etc. Westerbeke 5KW gas generator has 322 hours, runs good but needs stator for back end. Just spent 3K on cutlass bearings, zincs, misc, and bottom paint 8 months ago. Lowest priced one on Yacht world is 39K, Clear florida title in my name, registered in Fla. Boat is in Key Largo and can be viewed prior to auction end. TRADE? Would consider a very nice trailer boat 21-25 nothing older than 2000, with outboard or shamrock. Since early in his racing days, Reggie has constantly worked towards attaining and improving on the fastest V-hull design out there. This is all very apparent in Reggie’s 29 Fever sportboat. Boarding the 29 Fever seems safe and comfortable. The feel of speed is immediate on this boat, and you definitely feel the force as you add throttle. Specially on this boat with the upgraded Mercury Racing 525 EFI motor. The advantages of Reggie’s hull design become apparent when you are moving at top speed and run through performance turns without the dreaded skip, slide, or chine walking many others give at lower speeds. Up front, you have an anchor locker and bow rails. There’s plenty of room to spread out for sunning, but it’s not an area to ride when the boat is underway. Pop up cleats are also in this area and maintain the smooth surface when stowed. The cockpit is protected by a full framed wraparound windshield that does not block the view of the driver. All controls are easy to reach at the helm. In addition, the steering is very responsive thanks to the Full Latham hydraulic system. The bolsters have bottom cushions that are power driven and are very comfortable for long-range trips. The seats drop away for the fast runs and safely hold you in position, even in the tightest turns. When you are cruising, you can easily bring the seat up for a comfortable ride. The ultra leather seating continues with a bench behind the driver and companion seat. Here three more people can rest in luxury and comfort. Using the standard power lift, you will find all the essential checkpoints on the power plant easy to reach. Fountain left plenty of room in the single engine configuration to get to all areas in the engine compartment. With the engine hatch closed, the cover makes a comfortable padded area to soak up the sun. The pad also is good to your feet when you are coming back aboard. Getting aboard is simple using the folding swim ladder on the integrated swim platform. Accommodations below are ample for two people overnighting, yet can handle up to four thanks to a privacy curtain for some separation.
