1982 Grand Banks 42 Motoryacht The Grand Banks 42 Motoryacht "Andrea Jean" has a very practical layout with a sturdy fiberglass construction, deep water design, and long range capability - all adding up to a complete cruising boat. The Grand Banks semi-displacement hull design, with a fine entry forward, hard chines aft, and a full keel has been proven on waters around the world. The bulwarks surrounding the wide main deck are capped with a sturdy teak safety rail providing safe movement from bow to stern for those on board making it ideal for a couple with children or guests.  Her single diesel power (Lehman 120) will cruise economically at 7.5 knots with an approximate 1.5 to 2 gallons per hour fuel burn. By shifting the house aft and raising the side decks aft, as compared to the Classic, GB gained enough interior space in the Motoryacht to provide increased living space with a spacious, full-width stateroom aft, and two staterooms forward. Out on deck, the raised side and aft decks provide a second alfresco living space over the aft stateroom in addition to the spacious flybridge deck. Access is much more elegant with proper stairs from the forward decks to the aft deck and continuing up to the flybridge. Between her welcoming decks, spacious salon and 3-stateroom layout, the Motoryacht is an excellent vessel for entertaining family and friends.

1993 Grand Banks Classic If you always wanted a 42' Grand Banks Classic and don't mind doing a little work (cosmetic/ detailing), here is your chance to jump on board without having to "breaking the bank".  The price is not a misprint, but it is firm.  Price her to sell (Estate Sale) for sure and yes SHE RUNS!!!   Her hull is in excellent overall condition, but the teak decks while not torn or warped need some sanding, cleaning, and teak oil.  There are no soft spots detected, and her props were recently done.   Powered by twin Caterpillar 3116 TA, (fresh water cooled) with about 2900 hours.  Since 1996 this boat has only seen about 1600 hours (less than an average of about 70 hours per year).  A family boat for the past 21 years and taken care of by a knowledgeable owner and his professional diesel mechanic.  She has an Onan diesel generator, holds 600 gallons of fuel, and 265 gallons of water. Recent upgrades include a new bridge enclosure, and Furuno Nav Net.   Of course this is a lot more equipment (nothing other than the standard Grand Banks list of amenities).   With all due respect to the seller and her family, we only want people interested in coming down, taking a good hard look, and putting an offer on paper.  This is the best priced 42' Grand Banks you will find that is not a major project.  As we mentioned, she runs great and is all there.  Just needs someone to love her all over again. Don't delay, she will be sold very, very quickly for sure.  Please call for an appointment and thank you for viewing.
