1993 Grand Banks Classic If you always wanted a 42' Grand Banks Classic and don't mind doing a little work (cosmetic/ detailing), here is your chance to jump on board without having to "breaking the bank".  The price is not a misprint, but it is firm.  Price her to sell (Estate Sale) for sure and yes SHE RUNS!!!   Her hull is in excellent overall condition, but the teak decks while not torn or warped need some sanding, cleaning, and teak oil.  There are no soft spots detected, and her props were recently done.   Powered by twin Caterpillar 3116 TA, (fresh water cooled) with about 2900 hours.  Since 1996 this boat has only seen about 1600 hours (less than an average of about 70 hours per year).  A family boat for the past 21 years and taken care of by a knowledgeable owner and his professional diesel mechanic.  She has an Onan diesel generator, holds 600 gallons of fuel, and 265 gallons of water. Recent upgrades include a new bridge enclosure, and Furuno Nav Net.   Of course this is a lot more equipment (nothing other than the standard Grand Banks list of amenities).   With all due respect to the seller and her family, we only want people interested in coming down, taking a good hard look, and putting an offer on paper.  This is the best priced 42' Grand Banks you will find that is not a major project.  As we mentioned, she runs great and is all there.  Just needs someone to love her all over again. Don't delay, she will be sold very, very quickly for sure.  Please call for an appointment and thank you for viewing.

Go To www.palm-beach-yachts.com for more informationFull Size Centerline Berth, New Northern Lights GeneratorMore details SoonWith only 2100 hours on her 210 HP Cummins She as Plenty of cruising ahead of Her She is a bit of a project but a good boat for the money WOW! This is a Great deal on a Great Boat!!There are boats that have been with us for so long—and are so popular—that they have attained classic status. The Grand Banks 36 is such a boat. She was the first model in the Grand Banks fleet, and over 1,200 were built during her production years. (The original GB 36 was built of Philippine mahogany until mid-1973 when the transition to fiberglass was made.) A semi displacement hull with a long keel, hard chines and a deep forefoot provide the stability that won the 36 a reputation for seaworthiness seldom matched by other boats in her class. Several twin stateroom interiors were offered over the years, all finished with handcrafted teak woodwork and all incorporating the very best in workmanship, hardware and materials. Topside, raised bulwarks provide security to the walk around decks, and there’s room for a dinghy on the aft cabin top. Notable features include teak decks, a functional mast and boom, direct cockpit access from the aft stateroom, and a spacious flybridge. Note that in 1988 the GB 36 was invisibly updated when six inches were added to the length and the beam was increased by four inches.

1997 Grand Banks 42 Heritage Classic This high spec Grand Banks 42 Flybridge is an excellent buy. Originally speced out in the US by a Grand banks dealer to do the 'loop' she has many extras such as stabilizers and further additions one her arrival to the Med. She did not complete the 'loop' and this is reflected in her low engine hours. She is in excellent condition and has been professionally maintained and being offered in British Pound offers a very competitive rate.

If you're looking for a Grand Banks, chances are that you already know what great boats they are, and how exceptional their reputation is, so I will keep this add short and sweet. There is plenty of info and reviews online that will do more than enough to sell this boat as a great vessel. First, I wasn't planning on selling this yet, but I have been asked by a few people on the docks if I would sell, so I'm posting this for sale with the following caveats: 1) The engine runs well, but it does need cosmetic work 2) I was planning (and still willing) to do the work myself and sell it at a higher price, around $50k. 3) I am considering selling this great vessel at a fair price because I have many other projects that I'm currently working on and time has a value. 4) If the right buyer comes along I will sell, but I'm in no rush. Also, you should note that the slip is transferrable upon marina approval, and it is located in the best Marina in San Diego, Bay Club Hotel & Marina. Marina has state of the art composite docks, underground parking, pool, hot tub, restaurant/bar, laundry facilities, bathroom/shower, etc. Makes for a nice condo on the water. Also, it's directly across the stage of Humphrey's so it's a perfect location for summer concerts. A summary of what is needed: - cabin painted - Wood revarnished - Hull painted - I recommend redoing the windows - Interior is good. I did remove the ceiling fabric because I prefer the robustness of the wood showing through. - Brass railings could be left alone, but I like brass to be gold and shiny in color, so if I continue to work on it, I will brighten and lacquer seal it all. Characteristics: - 120hp Ford Lehman, single screw, inboard diesel engine. - Wood Hull *extremely dry - Onan generator As stated, it does need some cosmetic work, but I have priced it fairly and it is certainly a great value for such a highly sought after, and difficult to acquire, classic yacht. Here are some other listings of the same boat for comparison: 1968 Grand Banks 32' @ $49,000 http://www.boattrader.com/listing/1968-Grand-Banks-Sedan-102290905 1969 Grand Banks 32' @ $81,000 http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/1969/Grand-Banks-Trawler-2742785/Tampa/FL/United-States#.VCRbuCtdVMo 1968 Grand Banks 32' @ $49,000 http://boats.oodle.com/view/32-grand-banks-sedan/3721596507-gig-harbor-wa/ Thanks for looking.
