If you're looking for a Grand Banks, chances are that you already know what great boats they are, and how exceptional their reputation is, so I will keep this add short and sweet. There is plenty of info and reviews online that will do more than enough to sell this boat as a great vessel. First, I wasn't planning on selling this yet, but I have been asked by a few people on the docks if I would sell, so I'm posting this for sale with the following caveats: 1) The engine runs well, but it does need cosmetic work 2) I was planning (and still willing) to do the work myself and sell it at a higher price, around $50k. 3) I am considering selling this great vessel at a fair price because I have many other projects that I'm currently working on and time has a value. 4) If the right buyer comes along I will sell, but I'm in no rush. Also, you should note that the slip is transferrable upon marina approval, and it is located in the best Marina in San Diego, Bay Club Hotel & Marina. Marina has state of the art composite docks, underground parking, pool, hot tub, restaurant/bar, laundry facilities, bathroom/shower, etc. Makes for a nice condo on the water. Also, it's directly across the stage of Humphrey's so it's a perfect location for summer concerts. A summary of what is needed: - cabin painted - Wood revarnished - Hull painted - I recommend redoing the windows - Interior is good. I did remove the ceiling fabric because I prefer the robustness of the wood showing through. - Brass railings could be left alone, but I like brass to be gold and shiny in color, so if I continue to work on it, I will brighten and lacquer seal it all. Characteristics: - 120hp Ford Lehman, single screw, inboard diesel engine. - Wood Hull *extremely dry - Onan generator As stated, it does need some cosmetic work, but I have priced it fairly and it is certainly a great value for such a highly sought after, and difficult to acquire, classic yacht.
