2000 Gulf Craft Sport Flybridge Cruiser This is a perfect example of a Euro style motor yacht. She is ready to cruise in style with all the comforts of home. She is a very well laid out yacht with lots of storage and beautiful woodwork throughout. Her twin 660hp cats can get up to 25 knots when she needs to or cruise down the waterway at 10 knots sipping fuel as she goes. There is a full complement of electronics and navigation equipment as well as a dingy. All the soft goods and coverings throughout the vessel are in very good condition with new carpet on the way. She has 3 staterooms and 2 heads. The fly bridge is large and spacious. Her open saloon and aft deck offer excellent social areas ideal for entertaining guests! Entertainment equipment consists of a satellite system receiver, 2 flat screen LCD TVs, and a New Sony Play Station. Batteries are all new (2011) and the engine room is spotless. We have only owned this boat since Valentine’s Day this year however we have had an unfortunate life changing event that forces us to sell our beauty and pass the project on to someone else who will bring her back to the original beauty she deserves. This boat is truly unique in that - it is the only one like it in the world. According to Wikipedia Chris Craft only made FOUR of the conquerors in 1958 and this one is the only survivor. She is work in progress but in the end, I can only image what she will be worth. Imagine owning the only boat in the world. There is so much room on this boat; it’s like your own personal floating condo. You can take it any where your heart desires, she’s ready to run. The work this boat needs is cosmetic, not mechanical; she starts right up and sounds amazing! They just don’t make boats like this anymore. The boat is Philippine mahogany double planked construction with original teak decks. She has 3 staterooms, 3 heads, one BIG salon and nice size galley. The salon has 13 windows (4 are cracked) there are bookshelf’s on both sides, above the bookshelf's there is a piece of wood that needs replaced. The salon has a new AC unit installed that works great. The original chart table in the salon is just beautiful to look at. Forward from the salon we have the galley. She has a 2 burner glass stove top, a brand new refrigerator, built in microwave, full 2 sided vinyl booth seating, and small pantry and allot of storage. She also has the original black and white checkered vinyl floor from 1958. The counters and sink have been upgraded to corian. The ceiling in the galley needs some work. Forward of the galley you have the crew quarters/V-berth and a head with a beautiful Corian counter-top. Also plenty of lockers and storage. Aft of the salon is the guest stateroom with 2 twin beds, a hanging locker/wardrobe, and plenty of drawers and storage cabinets. Across from guest stateroom is a head with a toilet and sink with Corian counter-top. Next aft we have the master stateroom. There is 1 full size bed (Mattress not included) and 1 twin bed with a very nice upgraded top quality mattress, 2 hanging lockers, drawers and an aft hatch that opens to the completely enclosed cockpit. There is an attached head with a complete Corian shower, Corian floors and counter-tops. Forward of galley is with twin bunks, storage lockers, and an attached head with sink, and Corian counter-top. This yacht is 99% completely original. The layout, every drawer, cupboard, and each and every handle & doorknob are original to this yacht. The only things changed on her are laminate floors in salon, Corian counters in all 3 heads and galley, plus a complete Corian shower and floor. Her original mahogany is apparent throughout the yacht. Nothing has been painted over. Any wood that might need replacing is visible. As you can tell from the photos her rich mahogany interior is a true state of beauty. We work on this boat every day, we are just finishing up the front deck, and it was completely sanded and refinished. We also did the aft of the boat and we are currently putting our final coat on the front deck. (If the rain would cooperate, it would be done) I have many of the original documents for this boat including the original work order to build the boat with both matching engine numbers listed. I also have the blueprints, original 1958 advertisement, the specs from Chris Craft from 1958, and receipts for some of the work done over the years by previous owner. This boat has been kept in her original state. She has not been cut up, or had cheap cabinets installed or had her original integrity compromised. These vintage yachts are very hard to find in their original condition much less with original paperwork. She is powered by twin Detroit Diesels 6I-71 that runs STRONG. Engines are original to this boat with approximately 2300 hours on them. There is also a 4JBLE-01 20 KW Yammer Generator that runs everything on the boat with power to spare! Generator has a new water strainer. She has 12V and 110 electrical systems in place. Ship to Shore power switch has been recently updated to a modern Oman switch. Engine batteries have been replaced with 8D 12V for more sufficient engine starting. Toilet has been updated with a new Electra Scan system which makes living aboard so easy. No holding tanks to empty EVER! New water pump installed in shower as well as new bilge pumps installed throughout entire boat. New air conditioner installed in salon. Wired for cable TV/internet. There are TWO 100 lb gas tanks on this boat but we were told one gas tank is out of commission - we are not why - we never looked into in further detail 100 gallons is plenty of gas. Some of the gauges do not work We have a comprehensive survey from a wooden boat surveyor/specialist from 2011.... Last pullout bottom job was done 2012 however she gets her bottom scrapped and cleaned on a regular basis with new anodes and zincs as she sits in salt water right now in Shalimar, FL. We are in a protected bay 2 miles from the gulf. Since this is a documented vessel, that means you don't have to pay sales tax on the purchase. You pay USCG 90.00 to transfer the document from our name to your name and that's it - you’re done with the paperwork for the sale. Insurance is cheap and easy to transfer through Markel. *Please note = There is one photo that was taking many years ago when she was in tip top shape out on the water. This photo is only being used to represent what she could like again if someone has the time and money to invest in her. All of the other photos were taking between July 7th and the 17th of 2015. The last thing I would like to say about this yacht is it is the only one left in the world. As I already mentioned, it was 1 of only 4 made in 1958.The 55' Chris Craft Conquerors were never built again. Chris Craft only produced 40' Conquerors starting in 1959.1958 was the last year of the 55' Conqueror and OUR BOAT IS THE VERY LAST ONE!!! A collectors dream...This is the one and only model that Chris Craft made with curved side windows. The 1958 55' Conqueror was the only boat to ever receive these jewels. This vessel is a Schucker "Gulf Packet" built in Bradenton, Fl by a company better known for it's rugged 40' to 50' cruising motorsailers. In the early 80's James Schucker, the designer/builder, was faced with declining sales due to soft economy and high production costs of his large motorsailers and trawlers; faced with imminent closing of the facility and remaining stockpiles of raw materials and hardware, he designed the 23' Gulf Packet as a last try at a niche market. Six of these craft were built to the same high standards, and using the same hardware, as their larger sisters. Rugged, roomy, seaworthy and unique, four were gas-powered, and two had small diesels. But they were quite expensive for their length...and no further boats were built. The company closed it's doors. Extensively renovated during 2013-2014 years, the vessel is in bristol condition and requires nothing for enjoyable years ahead. No trailer included. Next aft is the stateroom with double vee berth and storage above and beneath. This bright and airy space has full 6' headroom, traditional skylight/screened hatch above, solar vent, three screened opening ports, and fluorescent lighting. The head compartment with sink, pressure water, lockers, self-contained WC (C-Head) and screened opening port is next aft to port. To starboard is a curved companionway to the pilothouse. Tugboat style pilothouse with 6'4” headroom has centerline helm with full instrumentation, traditional wheel, sunvisor, 5 windshield panes with center opening, solar vent, P & S sliding doors to weather decks with double lifelines, gates, and anchor platform w/pulpit. Next aft, and down one step, is the full width deckhouse with 6' headroom. To port is the dinette, convertible to wide single or snug double, with abundant stowage beneath. To starboard is the galley with stainless sink w/pressure water, Norcold 12v fridge, and storage beneath. There are five large screened opening ports, plus fixed ports, affording a panoramic view whether standing or seated. There are four fluorescent lights for keeping it cheery and bright at night. Right aft is a sliding door to the covered self-bailing cockpit, with overhead storage for lifejackets, boathooks, oars, etc., and benches P & S with storage beneath for lines, cleaning gear, power cord, etc. There is a pressure FW shower hose. Cockpit has full-width swim platform with boarding/swim ladder attached. Engines Originally gas-powered, boat was apparently repowered in 1987 with a Pisces Indamar 4 cyl 62hp FWC diesel. Access through pilothouse deck hatches, and access hatch fwd. Engine uses glowplug preheating and starts instantly. It does not burn oil, nor has it ever overheated. ~3000 hrs. Fuel consumption averages about 0.8 gal/hr @ hull speed, 6 kts. Max speed 7 kts. Fuel system consists of two wing tanks, P & S aft, about 40 gal each, supplying fuel via dedicated demand electric transfer pumps, through separate primary fuel filter/water separators, to a common 12 gal 'day tank'. The day tank feeds the engine through a Racor secondary filter and engine-mounted tertiary filter via electric lift pump; fuel return to day tank only. This system is what you would expect to find on large commercial vessels, and is extraordinary on a 23' trawler. All fuel passes through three independent filter systems! Total capacity of approximately 92 gal yields a cruising range of about 600 nm. Electrical System Electrical system consists of two dedicated Group 24 marine starting batteries wired parallel to ON/OFF switch. There are two Group 24 deep cycle house batteries galvanically isolated, feeding 1/2/BOTH switch. Charging system includes engine alternator and Xantrex 20 amp “True Charge” solid state charger, with Professional Mariner 4 battery test bank meter. All batteries in good, serviceable condition.
