The boat is a 1992 Bayliner Capri 1850 with a 3.0, 135hp 4 cylinder mercruiser inboard engine with a alphaone outdrive. My wife and I have owned the boat and trailer since July of 2011. We purchased the two as one package from Oak Hill Marina in Arnold's Park Iowa, where the boat was originally sold new to the previous owner. The boat has a snap cover with a standing pole for the bow and a snap cover with three standing poles for the cockpit and the stern. I also have a custom blue outside cover that I will include as well as a snap enclosure. Power accessories include am/fm CD radio with detachable face and two speakers, power trim, blower, bilge pump, nav light up front and anc light on the back. The boat is in very good condition, the seats have minor tears and the floor is solid with no soft spots. The outside blue paint is new with brand new Bayliner graphics which work was done June of 2015. Upper white is in good condition with some minor scratches. The battery is an optima blue top gell cell that I put in, in May of 2012. October of 2012 I replaced the spark plugs with acdelco plugs as well as changed the oil and filter with oem mercruiser products. The engine and lower unit runs very good, if interested in hearing engine run contact me within the next few weeks, because I will be getting it winterized probably the first or second week of October. Bob from The Boat Shop, here in Norfolk has done all the winterizations since we've owned it as well as putting in a new shifter/throttle lever back in August of 2011. The trailer is a shorelander roller style trailer with all working lights. A hand winch is used to load and unload the boat. The Jack also has a hand crank to go up and down no problem. I repacked the wheel bearings with new seals August of 2015. The tires tread is great just weathercracked which is why I will be including two new Goodyear marathon radial tires on new steel wheels that I was planning on putting on in spring as part of the deal. The boat inside has never been exposed to the weather in our possession with the covers off, we even store it in a custom storage hut built by my father in law. Only serious buyers no low ball offers.

I purchased for restoration to go water skiing. Within the past year I have gotten arthritis (left hand) to the point that water skiing is now a memory. The boat was rebuilt as though I was keeping it. Here it goes. Rebuilt Chevy 350 (approx 325 hp) Roller Tip Rockers, Ported & Polished Heads. Comp Cams RV Cam, 750 cfm dual feed Holly dominator carb, Billet Value Covers, Billet Air Cleaner, Mallory Marine Dist., Single Plane Alum. Intake, Holley Elec. Fuel Pump, Billet Cam Cover, 8mm Wires, Billet Chromed Steel Thermostat, all new hoses, exhaust hose, Billet Fuel Log, Tow Ring, Oil Change Valve, Adjustable Temp Valve, Motorola Marine Alternator, Billet Pullley, Etc. Berkley Pump received a full rebuild, wear ring, seals,gaskets, impeller, etc. New control cables, steering wheel, full gauges, good stringers, clean gas tank, new bilge pump. All hardware replaced done in stainless steel. Hull does have scratches, but very nice for age. Existing DVD stereo with new 2-6", 2 - 6x9 Clarion speakers, new blue boat cover, removable stern light. Trailer outfitted with LED side/back marker lights, bearing buddy, re-packed bearings, new tires, real steel belted, not Walmart trailer tires, near new spare, new crank jack, new boat crank, new hitch hardware. Get the picture? Needs: New bow light, some gauges hooked up. Interior shows well but is 39 years old. Engine/Pump have 10 hours since rebuild!! Winterized with fogging oil, block drained. Ready to use. Built for me to keep, now, unfortunately, listed for sale. Fast boat, Over $8000 invested.

This is a 12 foot aluminum boat that is flat in back and v-bottom in front. It is in great shape and has been well taken care of. It has three bench seats in it, and storage under the foam filled seats. Most of the hardware included is stainless steel, but some galvanized. The hardware consists of: an eyelet in front to hook a rope and pull in the boat, a mount for excess anchor rope to wind around. Mount for a depth finder sensor, and an e-z anchor mount. This boat sits on a blue trailer that is about 16 feet long. It has some rust on it, otherwise in great shape. The hitch is a hand tightening hitch with a heavy duty lock ring to prevent loosening when mounted. It has one heavy duty chain for safety chain. The trailer also has heavy duty springs on the axel. It also has a hand crank on front to crank the boat in for easy landing. The trailer is a four plug system but has the ability to easily be changed to a six plug. It also includes a spare tire. The Motor is an older Johnson 6HP motor. Most of the motors life has been kept inside. It has been well taken care of and will start very easily. It has a separate 5 gallon gas tank with a hose and ball system. The mixture of oil to gas is 2oz of oil per gallon of gas. The motor is a hand steer-type motor with throttle on the handle. One of the reasons I am selling this boat is because I can’t keep it inside any longer. The trolling motor is Minn-Kota 3Hp, 12volt motor that works very well. The handle extends to make it longer, and is a rear mount motor. The battery for the trolling motor is only 1 year old and has been used only twice. This boat will come with three bleacher-like seats that seem to work very well with the boat. It makes it comfortable and easy to move around. It also comes with: an 8lb round anchor and lots of rope, another anchor that digs in to mud, two life jackets (adult size), a throw float, and a spare smaller trolling motor. I am selling my boat because it has been sitting for three years, unused. I haven’t had the time to use it much, and with a new child on the way still won’t have time to use it. I would hate for it to go to waste so I decided to sell this wonderful boat. Everything listed comes with the boat. If you buy this boat it is ready to go right out and go fishing. 1983 smokercraft, 14' big fisherman, 25 hp Johnson tiller (newer than the boat but not sure of the year). My Father and I replaced the stern year before last as it was getting soft on me, we used marine grade of course. And my girlfriend and I rebuilt all the interior flooring and carpeting this last winter. I also installed the lighted switch panel for bilge, aerator, and livewell which are all new as well as wiring and plumbing. The hand winch and strap plus the trailer lift crank are only 2 years old bought new as well. Trailer is in great condition with new LED waterproof lights and Carlisle tires with only three summers of travel here locally (spare of course isn't as great but will do the job if needed). The 25 Johnson starts and runs great and was immaculately maintained and operated since my uncle originally bought it new (he just recently passed from Colon Cancer) the trolling motor was bought new 3 years ago and until this year was only ever used on a 10' alumacraft rowboat. This boat is very solid and in the last 2 years has been restored to near perfect and I can tell you firsthand is wonderful to fish in... Believe it or not that little 25 will really move it. I can pull our 14 y/o with me and my gf + all our fishing gear in a tube no problem (tried as an experiment here about a month ago). Includes battery and full cover.
