For sale is a classic bulletproof Hatteras hull being converted to a Carolina Styled Express. The Hatteras requires finishing from the stringers up, along with power. Remaining are the fuel tanks, water tank, and engine mounts for Cat 3208s. 34' 2" in length, 12' 6" beam with a draft of 36" the boat is a one piece molded fiberglass hull. Designed by J.B. Hargrave, legendary marine architect and a pioneer of fiberglass boat construction. Hargrave Hatts were noted for their comfortable, dry ride and maneuverability. The fiberglass Hatteras' of the 1960's created a new class of boats coined convertibles. The specs of the original 34SC stated comfortable cruising speed of 35mph with top speeds over 40mph.
