LIBERTY was on the Great Lakes for over 30 years and the current owners have owned her since 2005 keeping her in a covered slip for the last several years. The Hatteras 53 MY was introduced in the 1970s and was considered an excellent yacht-aside from her rugged construction and traditional profile is her spacious and very comfortable accommodations. Built on a beamy modified V-hull with a deep keel, the 53 was considered a luxurious motor yacht in an era when Hatteras Yachts were considered the upscale yacht to own.
