Up top, the flybridge helm and cockpit areas are very clean, with all the cushions on the flybridge in good condition. Inside, the spacious salon, down galley, and 3 rooms are clean and neat. The seller says that all systems are operational, and the twin Detroit 8V92TT turbo diesel engines have been regularly serviced and run great. Recent service and additions include new bottom paint in 2022, a new salon AC unit and heater, a new washdown pump, and a new 6-person safety raft mounted on the forward deck. Today, the Hatteras 52 Convertibles are still in demand and holding their values well. A great looking vessel that is still turning heads today, the 52' has a long deck profile with a very large cockpit and flybridge that offers plenty of room for anglers or guests alike. The Hatteras 52 Convertible’s hull was designed by Jack Hargrave. The hull was designed to run well in a head sea. The double chine serves two purposes, the first is to deflect the spray down, making this Hatteras dry, and it also allowed an increase of beam without adding more wetted hull surface, giving more interior volume without decreasing efficiency through the water. The modified V has a sharp entry to cut through choppy sea conditions. The V quickly shallows after the entry adding volume and buoyancy forward to keep the Foredeck above the waterline in even the most sporty of sea states. As you travel aft, the hull bottom gradually flares out for added stability. This stability is especially important at slower speeds such as when trolling for elusive big game fish.

1988 Hatteras 52 Convertible Price reduced! Completely updated inside and out! This beautiful Hatteras 52 is a rare find, she is a one owner boat that was bought at the Miami boat show in 1988 and has been meticulously cared for her entire life. With the interior and exterior updated!!! The exterior was repainted 3 years ago and shines like new. The bottom was painted last year (2014) and diver says she is in perfect shape. All of the electronics have been updated, Furuno Navnet "gps, bottom machine, radar, chartplotter, icom vhf, simrad auto pilot, furuno rd 30, furuno color bottom machine. On the bridge all of the isinglass is in great shape as are the cushions and chairs. The engine room is very clean with her over hauled 8v-92 Detroit diesels with low hours. All of the AC units have been serviced and blow extremely cold air. The interior has just under gone an extensive remodel. In the salon, new carpet, counter tops, sink and faucet, 40" tv and blue ray player, speakers and tuner, blinds, valences, sofa. Walk down below and there are three staterooms and two heads. To the port stateroom is double bunks with new linens and countertops.
