1984 Hatteras 53 Motor Yacht Some designs succeed so well in the marketplace that they earn the distinction of being industry classics. Such a boat is Sea Princess, a Hatteras 53 Motor Yacht, and still-popular cruising yacht whose comfortable ride and generous accommodations are seldom equaled by other cruising yachts of her era. Two decades in production, the Hatteras 53 MY quickly became the standard by which other motor yachts her size were measured. Sea Princess with her bi-level, three-stateroom, three-head floorplan is considered ideal in a motor yacht of this size, and the split enginerooms have since became a Hatteras trademark. Notable updates include the addition of stall showers to the aft guest head and forward head in 1975, a redesigned low-profile flybridge in 1978, an optional walkaround queen bed in the master stateroom in 1978, which Sea Princess has, and an increase in the fuel capacity (to 700 gallons) in 1980. The 435hp 8V71TIs will cruise Sea Princess at around 16 knots with a top speed of 19 knots. With 350 built, resale values for clean, well-equipped Hatteras 53 MYs remain strong in all markets. 1972 Hatteras Motor Yacht The legendary Hatteras 53' Motor Yacht is one of the most successful designs and is considered to be a true classic in yachting circles worldwide.  Built tough on a modified V hull and offering the comfortable 3 stateroom,  3 head layout, she has a timeless design and is an extremely popular boat in today's market. Accommodations with multi-level spaces that give this yacht a flow that works for the ideal live aboard cruiser or 2nd home on the water. Her unequaled construction and heavy displacement shows that Hatteras spared no expense in the lamination schedule, mechanical design, or the fit and finish.  This is exactly why a 44-year-old Hatteras can be a far better investment then a newer and lighter production boat decades younger.  It’s no wonder why the 53MY quickly became the standard by which other motor yachts her size were measured.   On her main flush deck, she has a spacious upper salon with an inside lower helm station, a fully enclosed aft deck “sun porch”, and a large open and airy extended flybridge including an upper helm station.Below you will find a large galley down with updated residential full sized appliances, dining for multiple guests and 3 generous staterooms, each with their own generously sized head. Separate walk in engine and mechanical spaces and storage galore. No Regrets is truly a classic yacht that has been continually updated and is a pleasure to show.

1977 Hatteras Motoryacht Originally listed at 159,000 but seller to sell and close by 12/31. His loss-YOUR GAIN!  Absolutely the nicest Hatteras 53 I have ever been on.  100% ready to go!  Call for details and make an offer!   The sellers have kept LIBERTY as original as possible and their loving care and meticulous maintenance is obvious.  LIBERTY was on the Great Lakes for over 30 years and the current owners have owned her since 2005 keeping her in a covered slip for the last several years.  The Hatteras 53 MY was introduced in the 1970s and was considered an excellent yacht-aside from her rugged construction and traditional profile is her spacious and very comfortable accommodations.  Built on a beamy modified V-hull with a deep keel, the 53 was considered a luxurious motor yacht in an era when Hatteras Yachts were considered the upscale yacht to own.  The three-stateroom floor plan is arranged with the galley down and split engine rooms which flank the corridor leading to the master stateroom.  The lower helm and pilot house is completely open to the large salon which provides the Captain with an excellent panoramic view.  The aft deck is enclosed with aft curtains and a hard top.  The aft deck is a perfect spot for entertainment and relaxation.  Wing doors open to the wide side decks and the huge flybridge has the extended bridge where a crowd can sit and relax.  The flybridge overhangs partially protect the side decks for sun and rain.  Perfect for a cruising, entertaining, or live aboard.  The 53 MY offers more living space and more storage space than you would expect in a 53-ft. motor yacht.  One reason is the 15 10 beam.  The other-its a Hatteras!  As most yachting enthusiasts know, no one can treat you to the luxuries on home on the water a way Hatteras can.  Knowing design and tasteful executions are reflected throughout the entire lower levels.     LIBERTY is a beautiful and well cared for example of the 53 MY.  Her current owners change of plans dictates her sale.  Only a personal walk through tour will do LIBERTY justice.  Contact the listing broker for a personal tour.

This boat runs as well as it looks. The hulls and superstructure are built like a tank with the bottoms about an inch thick with balsa cored sides and decks. These are first rate production motor yachts. Service requirements are relatively minor if the previous owner has kept up with maintenance. Virtually any yard can work on these boats and is familiar with them. That's the advantage of long-term production. With her 15'10" beam this is a big 50 footer and the layout takes maximum advantage of that space. Most people love the galley down layout with the dinette opposite which is great for informal meals. The galley is big enough, and well enough equipped with a full sized range top, while still having adequate counter space as well as plenty of storage space. The owner's stateroom is more than adequate and the guest staterooms are ample as well. Heads and shower size is more than adequate. The Hatteras 50 Motor Yacht is large enough to provide extremely comfortable liveaboard features, yet can still be owner operated. This standard accommodation arrangement provides three large staterooms, an aft master, mid guest and a forward staff or guest, all with ensuite heads.. This vessel is truly pristine in looks, exceptionally equipped and is meticulously professionally maintained. Accomodations SALON, MAIN DECK Salon access is via port or starboard side sliding doors.
