1999 Mainship 350 Trawler Saint Nancy is a very clean 1999 Mainship 350 with the popular single Caterpillar diesel, bow thruster, generator, air, teak and holly cabin sole and no exterior teak for ease of maintenance. She would be a fun trawler for you to do the Loop or winter in the Bahamas. This boat just sips fuel - 3.5 gal/hr at 8 knots. This is a 2 - owner boat that is the veteran of the Great Loop, the Bahamas and the Chesapeake Bay. This boat has been maintained and upgraded to the highest standard that you could ever want in a cruising trawler. The owner has spared no expense in upgrading the bimini's, canvas, screens, electronics and creature comforts within the vessel. Because the intention of the owner was to travel months at a time up to and back from the New England area he wanted it to be in excellent shape while living aboard. Safe navigation was also a concern so they replaced the electronics with state-of-the-art Raymarine current model equipment. Inside the spacious cabin is a lower helm station complete with full instrumentation. A bow thruster makes docking and maneuvering effortless. While underway in inclement weather your visibility is excellent with wraparound windows and windshield with wipers and washers. The roomy salon features warm teak highlighted by designer fabrics and opening windows with screens. The galley is equipped for cruising or entertaining pleasure, a large master stateroom gives you a center island bed, and a second stateroom features a second queen-size berth. The flybridge is enclosed with virtually new canvas and isinglass. The head has a built-in vanity, extremely spacious shower with stall, opening hatch, port light, mirror and marine toilet. On the fly bridge you have a huge area for entertaining or lounging, a center helm with great visibility, full instrumentation, seating for 6+, drop-leaf table and a radar mast. Aft of the fly bridge seating is a very large sun deck also covered by the extended Bimini, with room for entertaining and lounging. You reach the deck by a wide molded stairway (not a ladder), with full handrail. This is a beautiful boat that has been superbly updated and maintained by the owner. It has the look of an almost brand new boat! So on Monday, I made the trek still hesitant that something was going to be wrong with the vehicle due to the excellent price! There were only 4 of the 55' Conquerors made in 1958 and ours is the only survivor! It is very rare to find a year in the history of Chris Crafts boat building that has only 1 boat left of a particular model, especially a 55' yacht. We are currently living on this boat Living on a boat is a dream come true for some! You can have a waterfront home for a fraction of the cost and you can move anywhere your heart desires. She is Philippine mahogany double planked construction with original teak decks. All hot/cold water pressure systems working, all electrical working, Electra Scan waste removal system for the head recently installed which means you never have to deal with holding tanks to be emptied. She had a bottom job in 2012. We live at a marina that can haul her out for your inspection (buyers cost) and they can also do any cosmetic work, deck sanding, bright work you need. Aft of the salon is the guest stateroom with 2 twin beds,a hanging locker/wardrobe,and plenty of drawers and storage cabinets. Across from guest stateroom is a head with a toilet and sink with Corian counter-top. Next aft we have the master stateroom. There is 1 full size bed (Mattress not included) and 1 twin bed with a very nice upgraded top quality mattress, 2 hanging lockers, drawers and an aft hatch that opens to the completely enclosed cockpit. There is an attached head with a complete Corian shower, Corian floors and counter-tops. Forward from the salon we have the galley. She has a 2 burner glass stove top ,a brand new refrigerator, built in microwave, full 2 sided vinyl booth seating, small pantry and sooooo much storage--which is rare on a boat--She also has the original black and white checkered vinyl floor from 1958. Forward of galley is the crew quarters/V-berth with twin bunks,storage lockers,and an attached head with sink,and Corian counter-top. This yacht is 99% completely original. The layout,every drawer,cupboard,and each and every handle & doorknob are original to this yacht. The only things changed on her are laminate floors in salon, Corian counters in all 3 heads and galley, plus a complete Corian shower--floors,walls,ceiling-- Her original mahogany is apparent throughout the yacht. Nothing, I mean NOTHING has been painted over.That is a very rare thing. Any wood that might need replacing is visible. As you can tell from the photos her rich mahogany interior is a true state of beauty. She will be worth a pretty penny once her decks are sanded, the bright work is finished and the interior work is competed. They are not costly repairs but more time consuming repairs. If this boat was complete, it would bring in TOP dollar at the wooden boat festival in Madisonville, LA (this is also where the boat came here from) I have many of the original documents for this boat including the original work order to build the boat with both matching engine numbers listed.I also have the blueprints,original 1958 advertisement,the specs from Chris Craft from 1958,and receipts for some of the work done over the years by previous owner. We have kept this boat in her original state.She has not been cut up,or had cheap cabinets installed,or had her original integrity compromised.These vintage yachts are very hard to find in their original condition,much less with original paperwork. Now for the mechanical side:She is powered by twin Detroit Diesels 6V-71 that run STRONG. Engines are original to this boat,with approx 2300 hours on them. There is also a 4JBLE-01 20 KW Yanmar Generator that could power a small city.Generator has a new water strainer.She has 12V and 110 electrical systems in place.Ship to Shore power switch has been recently updated to a modern Onan switch. Engine batteries have been replaced with 8D 12V for more sufficient engine starting.Toilets have been updated with a new Electra Scan system which makes living aboard so easy. No holding tanks to empty EVER! New water pump installed in shower as well as new bilge pumps installed throughout entire boat.New air conditioner installed in salon. Wired for cable TV/internet. We have a comprehensive survey from a wooden boat surveyor/specialist from 2011.... Last pullout bottom job was done 2012 however she gets her bottom scrapped and cleaned on a regular basis with new anodes and zincs as she sits in salt water right now in Shalimar, FL. This boat was purchased new by the boss's in-laws for use at their home in Florida. They built a a climate controlled garage just to store it and only put it in the water a few times over the years. After it was last in the water a couple years back, they spent over $3,000 to have it fully serviced and shrink wrapped. We removed the shrink wrap and it was like opening a time capsule....the boat looks just like new!! A late model one with low hours will set you back between $30,000-$40,000 so this is a screaming good deal. While we are certainly not boat experts, it's not hard to tell when you have found a real winner. This boat is powered by a Volvo Penta 5.7L engine that is basically new. We do have earmuffs for it so you will be able to hear it run. The boat is rated to carry up to 12 people and there is plenty of seating in the bow and stern. We even have a small porto potti to go with it for those off shore emergencies. Of course we have all the original books and manuals from new. The boat sits on a custom Four Winns tandem axle trailer with a removable hitch for easier storage. It is also in great condition and ready to keep on hauling this toy to the lake or bay. It is really the perfect boat for water-skiing, pleasure boating, or even a little fishing and swimming off the back. It is just begging for someone to take it out to play. We are a dealer, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back. Vehicles with remaining warranty must be handled between purchaser and new car dealer. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers, and in rare cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title, which could be delayed up to 15 days. As we are located In Florida, we are required to title a vehicle "Exempt" in miles if the car is 10 years or older. The miles listed is the actual reading from the cars odometer. Payment/Fees We will add a $699 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price with cash in person, with a cashiers or certified check or bank-to-bank wire transfer. These forms are acceptable for the deposit as well, and we will accept Paypal for the deposit only. If you are the winner, a $2000 deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the vehicle until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding. We recommend that you do not send payment via regular mail or priority mail. We have experienced lost checks several times. We recommend that if you are sending payment, that you use registered, return receipt mail or FedEx. This is for you protection, as well as ours. Important tax info: If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay Florida's 6% sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, and you are are driving the vehicle away from our lot, you will be required to pay your state's sales tax up to 6%. If your state's sales tax is more than 6%, you will be required to pay the difference in your home state. If your state has no sales tax on motor vehicles, we will not charge you any sales tax. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home). Legal Disclaimer: The parties agree to the following with regard to dispute resolution: Any disputes between the parties must first be addressed by mediation. The mediation must occur in Broward County, Florida. The parties will split the cost of the mediator. The parties must personally appear in Broward County for the mediation. If a party is a corporation, then only the President of the corporation or the corporation's highest ranking officer will satisfy the aforementioned appearance requirement for mediation. Representatives of the parties will not satisfy the aforementioned requirement. The aforementioned mediation is required prior to the initiation of civil litigation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, then the parties agree that only the 17th Judicial Circuit Court for Broward County, Florida can resolve the dispute. The parties specifically agree that they will be responsible for their own litigation costs and attorney fees for mediation, civil litigation and appeals. The parties recognize that the State of Florida has laws which provide for the shifting of the burden of attorney fees. In the interest of reducing the risk and complexity of litigation caused by those laws, the parties agree to waive any rights they may have to attorney fees under those laws.
