This is a very nice all aluminum 1972 Marionette Seacrest Executive 41 ft. houseboat with a 14 ft beam and a 4'x10' aluminum swim platform with a nice flip down ladder for easy boarding. Total length of boat is 45 ft. This boat is almost like new and has been rebuilt about 7 years ago. Then it had 2 new 318 CI 4bbl motors installed then and there are 81 hours on them now. Has walter V drives and everything works excellent. This boat is ready to go and has been no problem since rebuilding. Also has a kohler 4500 watt genset and a xantrex 30 amp inverter system with battery bank. Also has 2 new roof top air conditioners one has a heat strip that works on shore or generated power, wall heater , capac system for checking electrolysis, new remote spot light, and a very nice head with separate shower and removable toilet for easy cleaning and no smells. It has power vents fore and aft that run 24/7 on shore power, inverted power or generated power. There is no leaks in this boat, the bilge has 2 automatic pumps. The bilge under the motors is always dry and nice. In the galley there is a new refrigerator new 2 burner electric glass cook top, that works on shore or generated power. There is a very heavy duty tri axle trailer ( very road worthy ) with brakes, new tires, and new lights. The trailer has a 2 5/16 ball. It sleeps 6 comfortably, there is a new queen size mattress that's always ready to go in the wheelhouse, in the galley the hutch makes into a bed for 2 and there is a new pull out couch in the aft state room for 2 to sleep on. This boat is made all out of aluminum except the 3/4 treated flooring. This boat has never hit anything and runs just like a dream. These aluminum boats were made of good quality materials and were meant to last many many years. The quality workmanship in the interior and exterior of the boat is awesome. The sun deck on top is strong and will support a lot of weight ( fun to jump off in the water) as is the top deck. There is plenty of room for setting on the fore deck and also the aft deck. Also the boat had new wall to wall carpeting and new drapes all around it. The boat is in Onoville NY and likely could stay there call Amy at the marina to be sure. This is a big boat, don't expect to pull it with a pickup. Also it needs to be permitted for over width if its taken on the road. I have a big single axle Volvo tractor I pull it with and that is available for sale if the boat sells. The boat is in the water right now and ready to go. This mahogany sidewheeler was custom built by master carpenter Guenter and operated by Ron Inman in Kemah, Texas for millionaire C.H. Coffield between 1955 and 1958. It was Coast Guard documented as the original "Texas Queen" and was the flagship of the Texas Navy. It was mainly used for running between Kemah, Texas, New Orleans and Florida, but folklore has it docked at many other ports. It was donated to Baylor University in 1968. Baylor staff operated many excursions on this unique vessel on Lake Waco. In 1970 it purchased by Frank Lord, moved to Lake Whitney and moored at the B&B restaurant, where it was used as a tour boat. The boat originally had twin Cat diesels with pneumatic transmission. Unfortunately, in 1989 it was decommissioned and turned into a floating apartment. The engines, trans, paddlewheels and flywheels were removed. The rudders, steering, three fuel tanks, water and holding tanks are still intact. It has a rear stateroom, front saloon, lavatory with shower and electric head. Up top is the pilot house with steering and controls. The paddlewheels were made the centerpiece of the walkway to the boathouse. They will go with the boat. It has a ladder that goes in front for access to the upper deck. This boat will need total restoration and either new propulsion or reinstall the paddlewheels, possibly with hydraulic motors. It does have some rotten wood on the starboard side in the saloon. It did partially sink in its custom slip back in 2003 due to a faulty water heater. This boat is 48' long, 19'9" wide, and approximately 12' in height with the smoke stacks removed. For the wood boat enthusiast, this is a real find - a one and only piece of documented history. Due to the boat's past history with Baylor University, it would be an awesome Lake Brazos tailgating showpiece! It is located at Harbor Master Marina on Lake Whitney, Texas 76691. It has been removed from the water for inspection and transport. By the way, the slip is not for sale, just the boat and paddlewheels. The trailer is also available.
