1972 Leisure Craft Houseboat. 46 feet long and 12 feet wide. It is a steel hull. Single engine V8. The slip is transferable to the new owner if they do not want to move the boat. It is paid for until the end of November.I do not have a whole lot of pictures but i will try to post more next time I get to the lake.The boat comes with a bill of sale onlyBoat is registered in my name until November 2016. --Good---The outdrive and bottom were serviced a few years ago.-The engine runs great-It has a sound system with remote.-Toilet works great and I have pump out records.-Queen bed-Futon pulls out into a queen.-Roof AC and portable AC unit-Fly bridge-Refrigerator with freezer-Lots of storage space-Microwave and Oven-Fishing pole rack --Issues---The roof needs some work. I have had 2 people make estimates for the repair. To completely redo the area on the roof with the issue was $2000-$2500. A second person estimated he could repair the issue with some sealant for $400. There is currently a tarp over the top of the boat and no water is getting in.-There is a leak in the water pipe where the water hose comes in from the dock. If the water is left on it will leak into the boat. So the water is currently off and disconnected until the repair can be made. The boat is not taking on any water nor has it since the leak was discovered.-Bimini top is currently off and needs a new cloth-The original generator does not work as on most older boats. A portable generator has always been used as the boat has the hookup setup for it. Buyer will have 1 week to pay full amount due once auction ends. I built it in my driveway and had neighbors twittering endlessly about it, some good and , no doubt some bad. I did get it built and moved on a reasonable schedule, I had cold days I couldn't do anything, rainy days ditto, as well as hot days. I t was moved to a marina where it now resides going on two years. As advertised, there are no leaks. I do however like the shelter provided by the slip in the marina. I would advise one thinking long and hard before beginning such a project, it is fun, but work like you may not have seen lately. An endless series of problems requiring consultation with my more knowledgeable friends to resolve something really simple as it turned out and endless gawkers and advisers can be counted on too. So the problem? My wife and I are getting on in years and outdoor activity of this type is simply not the fun it used to be. I have built several boats, so that is not new, but the joints (mine) are not renewed and that provides the problem.
