2008 Hunter 216 One Owner. Motivated Seller so the price is outstanding. This boat is in very good shape. I hurt my back two years ago, and I usually sail by myself so I haven't been out in two years. The boat is stored in the caves in Kansas City during the winter months, because the first year I parked it at the lake and a mouse chewed a small hole in the sail. I had it professionally repaired, and have parked it in the caves ever since. I have always made the few repairs it has needed. Plenty of cockpit space for 4, and very easy to sail single handed. Mooring lines, life jackets, cushions included. Trolling motor not included. 2007 Hunter 216, For Sale: 2007 Hunter 216 in good condition. Includes a trailer and a recently serviced 2009 Mercury 4hp outboard with low hours.Features: - New OEM headsail, installed in August, 2015. - Motor serviced professionally in June, 2016. - Recently power-washed, and so is free of grit or grime. - 'Little things', like a sail track lock, new mainsail battens, and clean cabin cushions.- Swinging keel pump rebuilt by Sailtec in 2015, under warranty through Dec 2016. Known Issues:- Rub-rail has taken a beating. New one would make boat look 75% cleaner. Approx $200?- Rudder shock-cord works fine, but is wearing down. Approx $35?- Sail cover zippers work, but could use repair or replacement.Although the boat is in good shape performance-wise (new sail, rebuilt pump, serviced motor, etc), the boat has its fair share of scrapes and rub-marks. I suspect that many would clean up with some Starbrite and elbow grease.Will show on land (with water bucket for outboard test) only after preliminary phone call. Will be willing to launch the boat for a water test with serious consideration.Trailer, boat, and outboard have a combined NADA value of $11,000. 2005 Hunter 216,Hunter 216 for sale: We love this boat but we just don't have the time to use it. It was designed by Glenn Henderson as a comfortable day sailer that is easy to trailer and launch, fast to rig, and fun to sail, especially in light air. It has a large cockpit and all sail controls are handled in it. It is essentially the same boat that Hunter currently markets as a 22 that retails for $30k +. This boat has only been used approx 1 week per year, and has been stored inside in the off season. It is in excellent condition. It features a retractable keel that allows launch from any ramp, swept back spreaders with no back stay, a furling headsail, and retractable sprit for the optional asymetrical spinnaker. We tow and launch it with a Honda CRV.
