2003 Hunter 44 Manufacturer's Description:Hunter Marine continues an aggressive product plan with the introduction of the 44 Aft Cockpit Cruiser. This innovative cruiser shares the same performance hull with the recently introduced 44 Deck Saloon, but comes in a lower profile. The boat was drawn by noted designer Glenn Henderson and sports some rather intricate features not usually found on cruising boats of this size. First is a "Bow Hollow", which increases the flow of water in the forward sections and increases hull speed. Second is a "Stern Reflex", which allows a flatter exit wake and less turbulence. This also increases performance. Hunter has learned much from the recent IOR boats and has incorporated some into cruising boats to enhance their performance without sacrificing comfort and the ease of sailing. The 44 Aft Cockpit offers superior amenities and comfort. A unique forward stateroom layout featuring a Pullman style double berth provides plenty of space and storage. The salon is full beam and allows for entertaining and dining in grand style. Aft, is the master stateroom, which is enhanced by carrying the wide beam well aft. Innerspring mattresses are standard and the finely finished teak interior and cabinetry are first-class. Upgraded hardware and fabrics really make a difference.

1993 Hunter Passage 42 - PROTEUS Set up for serious off-shore passage making and fully self-sufficient off-the-grid cruising. Has recently (beginning 2014) sailed in England, the coast of Europe and the western Med (2015) and crossed the Atlantic to the Caribbean (Nov 2015). Came up through the Caribbean (spring 2016). This yacht was never chartered, always privately owned, and meticulously cared for. All servicing and installations were done to a high standard. All safety equipment is up-to-date. The yacht participated in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) which requires a high standard of safety equipment, training, and inspections. The yacht has been certified as a Class-A offshore sailing yacht. All documentation is available and will be conveyed to future owner. The previous owners lived aboard, loved every minute of it, but are now moving back on land for a few years and do not want the boat to sit and atrophy. She needs to go to a good home and to someone who will continue the journey! She has taken care of her owners for years and will continue to do so for many years to come. S/V PROTEUS is "overbuilt" and designed for extended offshore passage-making and off-the-grid cruising. Just want to jump all the way down to the USVI instead of going the super-slow way all the way through the Bahamas? Okay. The previous owners just made a passage from the Dominican Republic straight to Ft.Lauderdale (March 2016). Seven days offshore? No problem. PROTEUS has a thicker hull, reinforced rigging, extra backstay (B&R rigs normally don't have them). Massive solar panels, watermaker, genset, wind generator – all these advanced features make for a yacht that can go anywhere, do anything, and actually be comfortable while doing it. The solar panels were upgraded in 2015, and the owners report that they lived entirely off the solar panels and almost never used the generator while underway. Occasionally, you'll hear people scoff at production yachts for being only for "coastal" cruising. "Oh, I'd never cross an ocean in that!" Not the Passage 42! Did I mention she's cruised in the North Sea and English Channel recently? When there were only aluminum-hull Ovni's and other "extreme" sailboats and expedition yachts at the docks, PROTEUS was right in there with the best of them. All image were made in June 2016 except the two exterior shots, which were made in Spain and Gibraltar in June 2015. More photographs are available on request. Here is an interior walkthrough. Additional Details:This yacht is currently in storage for hurricane season and the winter, but can be made ready for viewing. Sea-trial with security deposit (refundable). PROTEUS is on the coast of Georgia. Arrangements can be made for delivery within a reasonable distance on the US East Coast. Arrangements will be made to assist the Buyer in learning all of this yacht's systems. Current owner offers contact for any questions after the sale of the yacht. Final Thoughts from the Owner:We truly love this boat. Because of our time on PROTEUS, we will never be the same. Everywhere we go and everything we do for the rest of our lives will be colored by our experiences sailing this yacht. And it's not like we're ridiculously rich – we did everything on a modest budget, mostly on savings – but we did it, and you can, too. If you were looking for a chance to cut the lines and live like you always dreamed, PROTEUS could be that chance. It was for us. England, Ireland, Gibraltar, Morocco, half the islands in the Caribbean... it was all in reach, just outside the window. We look back on it now and think: "What on earth did we just do!?!" But we did. PROTEUS took us there. She'll take you there. 2000 Hunter 410 Beautiful 410 Hunter is ready for you to head out sailing. She shines above the rest and has always been well maintained. Bottom cleaned and inspected by diver quarterly and topsides are waxed and polished annually and while not much exterior teak is on the yacht, what there is is refreshed annually. Maintenance has been performed regularly including generator and engine inspection and service annually by trained craftsmen (injector inspection, windings inspection, oil and oil filters changed, fuel filters cleaned or replaced, water pump impellers replaced). The standing rigging is inspected every third year by a rigger from Houston, when normally aggressive rigging is inspected every 5 years. Furling line recently replaced for the mainsail and the main trawler sheets. I would update all soft running rigging (halyards and sheets on both main and jib. This vessel is kept in "show condition" at all times. At the helm there is a Raymarine ST60 Wind INSturment, ST60 Speed, ST60 Depth, pedestal compass, Raymarine ST7000+ autopilot system, Raymarine RC320 GPS / Chart Plotter and Raytheon Ray 53VHF radio. The engine gauges, including tachometer, oil pressure and temp are easily read as they are forward of the wheel ar the pedestal. The Yanmar Diesel engine has under 400 hours. There are two tables sides that fold out and an icebox as part of the helm pod package. On deck, thre is a roller furling jib and in mast furling mainsail. From the front, there is the added ease of an electric anchor windlass, back to Selden Rod Kicker solid boom vang, solar charger, and seven rope clutches. There are dual two speed self tailing Lewmar48 and dual two speed self tailing Lewmar 44 winches on deck to make almost any task a simple spin of a handle. The cockpit list starts with the elegant stern rail seats trimmed in teak with speakers mounted under, attached to the stainless steel arch, that contains the mainsheet traveler system over head, making control lines at easy distance from the wheel. The bimini top offers excellenet shade while the cockpit hot/cold shower keeps clean up after a swim behind the 42" wheel with overhead, integrated speakers. The cockpit is "snare" free during sail by utiliszing line storage, integrated into the forward cockpit molding. The galley contains refrigerator, freezer, microwave, gas stove and oven (gimbal), and double stainless steel sinks, in a fiddled trim laden Corian counter top. Maximum comfort is afforded in the salon by dual air condition systems, camel colored leather interior, and coil mattresses in the Pullman berth as well as the ample aft cabin. There are two heads, one in the main cabin and one in the forward V berth. Both have sinks and showers. Additional Conveniences: Galley Table that lowers into an additional berth Navigation station with seat, map light and book shelf Great interior lighting Screens for overhead hatches

1985 Hunter Cherubini, Official Name: Zephyr Official Number: 680953 Of all the boats that John Cherubini designed while at Hunter Marine, the 37' cutter has been the most successful . This Cherubini design is very sturdy and features a sensible & roomy layout below with wide decks for sail handling above. It is well suited for living aboard and/or comfortable cruising. My wife and I have lived aboard for last two years, sailed, and loved it. Very dependable ship! With a private forward stateroom featuring a private head with a separate shower stall, sink and vanity, it is apportioned very well with its roomy V-berth California king sized bed. With the aft private state room and roomy interior the boat can sleep six comfortably . The stationary dinette sits four adults easily, and the table leafs drop effortlessly for more space when not in use. The boat is also equipped with a stock kerosene heater, microwave oven, lp gas fueled convection oven with range and 4-burners, refrigerator and freezer. The 40 gallon fuel tank gives her a motoring range of more than 350 miles via the 44hp Yanmar diesel engine. Everything on the boat works! In the past year weve added a new fresh water pump, new water heater, new refrigerator and freezer, and all new interior LED lighting.
