This Hunter 33 is a work in progress. The interior needs the cabin sole refinished, and the upper wall coverings replaced. She needs a few minor gel coat repairs, bottom prep and paint, and a wash and wax. Her sails are in fair condition. The 120% jib currently installed is approximately 5 years old, the 100% jib is approximately 10 years old. The mainsail is original. She will need bottom paint, wash and wax, cabin sole refinished, and upper wall coverings replaced. She is a capable sailer, and has mechanical updates. Her galley includes sink, microwave, and ice box, with ample counter space and storage for the chef. A wet head includes shower attachment, sink, and head, with cabinet storage. She has everything you need for day sailing, as well as overnight and longer cruises.

1982 Hunter 33 The Hunter Cherubinis are some of the best Hunters ever built. They are stiff and seaworthy, giving their occupants safe and comfortable passages. This 1982 Hunter 33, Independence Day, is a classic John Cherubini-designed cruiser built for the consummate sailor. On deck she features a T-shaped cockpit, pedestal steering, and a lazarette that is both a comfortable seat and a spacious stowage for gear. Stainless steel stern swim ladder and double lifelines are great safety features. Internal halyards led through built-in exit blocks, recessed mainsheet traveler, inboard chain plates. Below decks, a unique floor plan creates comfortable accommodations for six. There's an L-shaped galley, and a two-burner stove/oven. She has a fully enclosed head with sink, vanity, and shower. Independence Day needs some tender loving care on the exterior gel coat on deck and starboard side of the hull forward, where dock guide lines have chafed the starboard side at the stem. 2012 Hunter 33 A wonderful family boat with plenty of details the 33 provides all for up to 3 couples.Calypso, is a beautiful example of the 33s. Very light use, 85 engine hours, and very clean down below. Good electronic, sails almost new, and all lines lead to the cockpit. The opening transom becomes a swim platform, the arch frees the cockpit of the main sheet. The wheel folds for additional cockpit space. Below the u-shaped cockpit is to port and the head to starboard. Beneath the cockpit is a private cabin for two. The ventilation is excellent. The main salons dining table drops to make a double using the settee. To starboard is a small table with facing seats. A v-berth is in the forward cabin.
