The owner is retired and very motivated to now sell his Hunter Legend. Overall, the boat is in good condition for it's age and kept at the owner's own dock. This 1995 Hunter 430 Legend looked to have normal wear and tear for its age. Some notice of stress cracks on fiberglass (see photos) Some areas inside the cabinets of the cabin showed some moisture. (see photos) Moisture near the inside cabin mast area as well as one of the stereo speakers. Per the seller, the boat has had a bottom paint approx July 2020 Notice of liquid in the engine pan below the engine. The seller mentioned he would be cleaning this area. Looks like one of the plugs on a top window hatch vent might be missing. There is Tape on one of the hatches, The hatch is cracked in front cabin. (see photos) The fabric on the dinnet is in ok condition, needs some cleaning. The overall condition of the 1989 Hunter Legend 37 is good. The hull gelcoat above the water line was found to be free of large or noticeable scratches, cracks, or gouges. The interior was found to be in good condition. The upholstery was found to be free of any stains or rips. Wind Instrument not working. The Legend 37 offers comfortable accommodations below decks that include mid-cabin and V-berth staterooms, a galley, spacious salon seating with drop-leaf table, and head that can be accessed from the salon or master berth. The Hunter Legend 37 is outfitted with a shoal-draft bulb/wing keel and is powered by a Yanmar 3HM35F diesel engine. The 1989 Hunter Legend 37 has a roomy aft cockpit with wheel, cupholders, and cockpit table. The aft helm seat opens up and a swim ladder can be lowered for easy access to and from the water. Descending below decks you'll find the galley directly to the left with a NAV station to the immediate right. The boat is in very good shape based on its age. The interior is in great shape and has been well-maintained. The sails, Main and Jib are stowed for the Winter. The boat overall is very clean and looks to be in great shape. Stock #374536 Legend 37 with many improvements, solar panel, Garmin 700 chartplotter, propane conversion! The Hunter 37 is a stable and dependable sailing boat that is made to travel the waters. The current Owner has taken Her to the warm waters of the Caribbean and back and the boat performed flawlessly. 200 watts of Solar help maintain the onboard battery and the 34 horse-power Yanmar diesel engine can motor you safely into the harbor after a day of sailing. A fully equipped galley below along with space to sleep and eat makes this a perfect day sail or an extended long voyager. The boat comes with 2 sails, the Main and Jib. The vessel could use some attention that is mainly cosmetic. A few features have been removed from the vessel for speed purposes as the current owner used the vessel in local yacht club racing events. The items removed are the head door and table from interior. The owner does have them and they will convey to the new owner.
