This boat is in good shape. A great boat for day sails or weekend trips. It comes with a main sail and CDI furler jib sail. There is a cover for the main sail that was new in 2013 and two sail bags for the sails. The sails have been well cared for and maintained yearly. The motor was brand new in 2012 and has less than 20 hrs on it. A new motor mount was put on last summer (2014). The electric has all recently been gone over and all of the lights work. The boat has a sony radio and two marine grade speakers all new in 2012. The interior cushions are in great shape and the wood inside was redone in 2012 just before I purchased it. All of the rigging is in good shape and working order. The boat comes with a trailer that was completely rebuild in 2013 which is in excellent condition. A boat slip in beach haven, NJ is included for the rest of this summer (until October 2015). This will be a great boat for someone that just wants to go out and sail this summer.

"HAJIME" is a Com-Pac 27 FT Sailboat As Is. She was manufactured by Hutchins Co, Inc in Clearwater, FL in 1987. Her seaworthy design mimics island packet yachts and has remained unchanged for 29 years. Her overall length with bowsprit is 29.5 FT, Beam is 9/5 FT, Draft is 3/5 FT and displacement is 6000 LBS. She has a 10HP Universal Diesel that runs well. She has a 50 gallon fresh water tank and 13 gallon Diesel tank. A fully enclosed head and shower with hot and cold pressurized water system. Two (2) large deck hatches and six (6) opening ports with two (2) dorades allow for a lot of ventilation. She was uhauled out and pained 10 years ago with no blistering and her rudder inspected. All looked perfect. This is a roomy boat that can sleep 4 comfortably but has capacity for 6. A 7 FT cockpit with large seat lockers provides outstanding storage and access to tankage, steering, and propeller shaft maintenance. Quality construction, materials and hardware provides above average quality and cruising comfort. Considering the age, the boat is in very good condition. I want to make a note that we just had the boat inspected on Friday, August 7th.
