Beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, and enhanced wherever possible, this Allmand sloop is a steal. 3GM Yanmar 27hp. Diesel (2009) twice as powerful as original engine. Length 30 9, beam 11 4, Shoal draft 3 10. Originally Tom Allmands personalized boat. It has aesthetic touches and upgrades not seen in any but the most expensive yachts. Surveyor stated it was more like a 10 than a 30 yr. old boat. The interior is virtually all solid teak, including 3 6-panel doors, beautiful teak parquet floor throughout, teak side paneling, shelves, bulkheads and cabinets. The exterior has been maintained with yearly waxing, all woodwork varnished, bottom painting, and non-skid repainted. Updated with a brand new Lewmar Pro-series 1000 anchor windless, reupholstered cockpit cushions, and a new Garmin GPSMAP 440. Inboard Yanmar 3GM 27hp engine completely rebuilt in 2009. Both the rudder and steering wheel quadrant platform have been rebuilt with fiberglass. We bought this boat in 1991, after our third child was born, because of its spaciousness, comfort and safety. From day sailing, to cruising, and even anchoring in the open waters of Lake Erie, this boat has done it all and proven itself to be exceptional.
