Snap on window covers. The owner spent over 10k on the canvas upgrade. Owner is only selling it because he's just getting a bit too old for the boat. Notes on the engine rebuild - The engine is Gen 6 454 7.4L BBC bored at +.030 and crank at 10/10. The engine is a roller cam, TPI fuel injection. Fuel system is all Mercruiser with a new Racor filter and water separator system. Batteries were all new in November of 22. New industrial type, Pro 4 battery charging system professionally installed by Jeremy Bishop Marine Service ($1200.00 installed) The short block was supplied by the builder "Marine Engine Supply" in Lake Tahoe and carries a 2 year warranty from 2/23. The heads were redone by Southworth Engine Builders in Eugene. Assembly and installation by Coast Diesel in Reedsport. Engine was completed and installed in July 23. 1996 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer Timeless sleek lines, updated interior and systems make this 500 look and feel like a much newer boat. This boat has the desirable Caterpillar engine option with CAT displays on the dash. Displays and engine computers show engine hours in the low 700’s reflecting the light use this boat has had. This boat has been in a covered slip in fresh water on Lake Travis since 2008. Before that it spent long winters in climate controlled dry storage and short summers in the waters of New York so topsides and gelcoat still shine like new. The interior of this boat is what sets it apart from all the others. Six months of work and over $30,000.00 was spent refinishing the cabinets and floors of the entire interior with real brazilian cherrywood. This gives the inside of the boat a rich, expensive feel that the factory plastic imitation wood laminates can’t match. Canvas was updated to white Stamoid.
