The repower includes a pair of CAT C32 D-Rated 1650hp engines, ZF new transmissions, new props, new shafts and twin 20 KW Caterpillar generators. She passed her Caterpillar PAR test with flying colors, with a top end of 40 kts. She boasts a 600 mile range at 30kts, burning only 100 gph. 1972 Custom Jim Smith Convertible This boat holds a special place in Sportfishing History. She is hull #2 and is the boat that Jim Smith built for his own personal use. She was redone as the "Speed Merchant" for Dick Moroso, and was widely known for being the fastest sportfish boat in most every circle. She was treated to a complete re-fit in 2008, complete with twin Cummins Common Rail (QSC8.3-540hp) engines, Twin Disk Transmissions, ZF "palm beach style" electronic controls, all new Navigational equipment, new Northern Lights generator, new Plumbing, new heads, new electrical system, new HVAC equipment, new Galley equipment, new cockpit freezer and refrigerator, new Release Marine fighting chair and twin pedestal helm chairs, all new interior goods including custom salon sofas. The exterior was re-painted in 2015. Old School style, with modern amenities!

HOUSE OF MYSTERY 201 & 203, DC Comics , 1972!!  Both of these are 52 Page Giants and both are in GD to VG condition solely due to spine wear and general light cover wear.  All pages are complete!  201 - April 1972 - has some wear at the bottom left front cover. Michael Kaluta cover! The splash page has a fantastic Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein page with Cain!  "Put Your Trust in a Killer!" by Steve Skeats & Adolpho Buylla has a Convict with a very strange story to tell! "Million Dollar Magic!" by Bill Draut shows an Old Man chased by an insane bird! "Hail, the Conquering Aliens!" by Ruben Moreira (Rubeny) shows an Alien Invasion with a twist! "The Demon Within!" by John Albano & Jim Aparo shows a little Boy who can turn into a Demon--literally! & "A Tale of Vengeance!" by Albano & Sam Glanzman tells of a boy trapped in a mineshaft--and the way he was rescued!   203 - June 1972 - a split at the bottom spine. Russ Heath cover art! The splash page has a Great Cain opening by Bernie Wrightson!  "The 1,000 Eyes of Death!" by Robert Kanigher and Ernie Chua show a man getting on the wrong side of wild birds--with a twist ending! "The Golden Doom!" by Bill Draut shows a Man who has the Midas Touch and can turn anything to gold! "Almost Human!" by Albano & Jack Sparling shows a manlike Monster living in an apartment building who goes to jail! "The Tower of Prey!" by Nestor Rendondo shows a greedy landlord murdering a stubborn Tenant--and the way fate steps in!
