1978 15 1/2' open bow Runabout Boat has a convertible top with zippered stern cover and bow cover (bow cover needs some repair work). Also, it has a total boat cover bought new last fall. A new steering system ($600) was purchased two seasons ago. Inside trim was replaced with new wood trim and floor carpet was replaced with new outdoor carpet about four to five years ago. 1986 70 HP Johnson outboard motor (completely overhauled) was purchased about seven years ago. It has power lift and trim. The motor has been used very little; only a few times each season. It runs great. It is great for water skiing, tubing, boarding, fishing and/or just cruising. Trailer has new tires bought two seasons ago and a spare tire is included.

This sale includes many extras as seen in the photos. Boat cover, two fuel tanks and hoses. one seat , Fish finder, oars, trolling motor and a year old deep draw battery, life jackets, one extra prop for both the 8 Hp. and 15 Hp. engines. Both engines have very limited hours of actual use. The 15 hp has been in the coastal water way several times but mainly used in fresh water. The 8 hp outboard has only been used in fresh water. Both engines are in very good condition. The 8 hp has been used for less then 20 total hours. The 15 hp has been used for no more than 100 hours. Both run very well. The 14 foot boat is also in very good condition as you can see in the photos. A little paint has be rubbed off due to being tied to a dock at times. A flat bed type plywood add on for the trailer that makes it usable as a small flat bed trailer. A Boogie Board and tow rope also included. The 15 hp engine will nicely pull an adult person on the Boogie Board. With this combination of boat and two outboard motors you can fish in very shallow water using the 8 hp and have lots of fun with the 15 hp traveling at up to 15 ++ mph depending one the load being carried in the boat.

Up for sale is my 1956 Thompson Bros Wooden 15' Sea Coaster Boat with a 1957 or 1958 Johnson Javelin 35 hp Motor/controls on a trailer. It is unrestored and untested. It was purchased from the family who has owned it for around 50 years. It was stored inside out of the weather and is well preserved. While trying to replace the tires on the trailer, one of the wheel splines broke, so new wheels & tires and a new axle was installed. While you can pull it down the road, I would recommend that you trailer the rig on a flatbed or enclosed car hauler to get to your destination (or I can deliver it in my enclosed trailer for a fee (to be determined by the seller based on destination). The flywheel of the motor will turn but the motor itself has not been tested for running condition as I do not have the knowledge or experience to do this - I'm not a boat person). It was manufactured in Peshtigo Wisconsin at the Thompson Bros Boat Factory.
