1972 Boston Whaler. We have had the boat for about four years now and before that it sat in a field in Bunnell for about 10 years. I completely tore the boat down (the original mahogany was shot), raised the transom (back then all the motors were short shaft - but not the one that was on there), took down the original gel inside and out, recoated with Awl Grip, and re-did the same interior layout with red oak. I somewhat know the person I bought it from and while the motor is a 1992 (Johnson 30hp) he bought it new in the crate when he picked up the hull. He swore that over ten years he had only put 100-200 hours on it in the ICW and Dead Lake. The motor is solid and runs like a champ (and the boat will do over 30mph in the right conditions - and believe it or not the boat is rated for a 40!). I have put in a new solenoid, new starter switch, new fuel lines (has a primer assembly and not a choke), tuned it up two months ago with new plugs and cleaned the carb, changed out the lower unit oil, and have a new water pump kit that I will hopefully put in this weekend. I just did a major overhaul of the trailer so all the running gear is solid as is the rest of the trailer (lights, bunks/rollers & spare wheel). The boat was very pretty for the first three years after re-doing it however I did some crabbing for six months this fall/winter so the interior now has some scratches and the oak needs some polyurethane touch up (I just got a quart of that too) and will get it done soon.

2000 Sprint 296DC dual console (19 ft.) , with 175 Johnson, SS Prop & jack plate. Minnkota 80lb thrust 24v trolling motor , 1 GPS/Fishfinder Lowrance @ Driver , 1 Garmin color fishfinder & Garmin gps @ bow . Lots of Extras! 60 MPH bass fishing machine. Hull is in great shape , NO leaks or water damage anywhere, with very few minor dock dings in it. All new seats , poles , carpet still looks good for original , I have spare leaning post & extra poles (different height). New start battery , trolling motor batteries working well . Trailer has new hubs, buddy bearings , new bow roller, new tires also , spare is old but in good shape . It was Garage kept since I've owned it , but now is stored outside with a brand new $150 boat cover from gander mountain + 10X20 tarp over that . IT IS VERY DRY. Avg retail on this boat is $9400 , some room for negotiation , but no low ballers , I DO NOTHAVE TO SELL IT , & I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE ! Call or txt for appointment to view it ! Sunday afternoons & Mondays are the days I have to show it . Q:Is your Johnson a carb motor and does it have hydraulic steering? A:yes it is carb engine , and no , its Teleflex cable steering. Q:When was the last time it was serviced? A:It was serviced fully at the end 2013 season,by my brother and myself. We changed oil in lower unit , cleaned carbs ,changed plugs and greased pivot points etc. We also checked compression and it is 112 - 117 psi on all 6 cylinders . I only fished out of it twice last season (2014) , then winterized and stored it. Q:Do you have an onboard charging system? And is your trolling motor control recessed in the floor? A:The charging system is two banks, 5a factory ( trolling batteries only ) and yes , the pedal is recessed into the floor from the factory.

For sale is a Trim Tilt Assembly for earlier 55HP -115HP Evinrude and Johnson outboard motors This unit has been fully rebuilt and upgraded to allow easy replacement using current parts available without the expense of paying high dollars for OEM replacement parts which are hard to find 1. The motor and pump assembly has been replaced with a newer affordable unit 2. Both pistons have been completely rebuilt and the ends have been drilled to accept a more available bushing from most hardware stores and online 3. The Pivot bolts have been replaced with a easier to obtain shoulder bolts and the lower pins have been retained with the original ones. 4. All lines and fittings for the pump assembly to pistons are new and available at most speed shops and Ebay along with many other sources. 5. The new pump pressure and pistons were tested and is suitable to operate the trim assembly as required 6.
