We get all the odd and unique trade-ins from our local Scottsdale Mercedes dealer. The original owners had it custom built in 2003 from Kachina Boats here in Phoenix, AZ. It only has 210 hours on it since new and was serviced every year with all the service records since new. It has never been in saltwater in its life. It just had a full $1000 service on 9/10/14 and only has been to the once since then, which was, me taking it out last weekend testing it out. The boat ran amazing and everything worked. It is 100% lake ready for the summer. It is powered by a fuel injected 496ci 359hp Merc Cruiser with a Bravo drive and 5 blade stainless prop. that really moves this boat along the water. It does a top speed of about 60-65 mph. The hull of the boat is in excellent condition with no cracks and features a very cool, custom one a kind paint scheme. The interior is original and looks excellent. The white upholstery shows a little discoloring from the sun over the years but still has years of use left. It has a like new bimini top in excellent condition to protect you from sun. The prop is in great condition and it has power trim tabs. It even has the very desirable open bow design, which is the only way to go!! It begins with a hand-laminated hull and Formula’s grid stringer system, which accomplishes a couple of things. First, it provides a solid skeleton for the hull. Second, due to the way it’s designed and built, the grid system also provides a positive-molded gelcoat surface in the bilge, which makes for a much neater appearance and easy cleanup. What’s more, all the cavities in the grid system are filled with foam for extra flotation and sound deadening. The grid system is bonded to the inside of the hull with Plexus adhesive, which is so strong, dynamite is about what it takes to remove it. Formula also bonds the hull and deck with Plexus before it tops the seam with a stainless rub rail. Look closely at the screws on a Formula’s rub rail. All the slots on the Phillips screws are indexed perfectly in a north-south, east-west orientation. All of them. On every boat. Up top, the 260 Bowrider’s deck and cockpit liner are one piece, which also makes for more solid construction. In the bow, Formula provides filler cushions as a standard feature. They not only fill in the gap between the cushions, but they also fill in the angled back rests between the bow walk-through. It’s a fantastic setup that allows three-wide lounging up front. Behind the windshield, Formula designer John Adams created a space that’s welcoming and usable. To port, the lounge can be used as an aft-facing chaise or a bench seat for two. The back rest and portside dashboard conceal a spacious head. The wetbar includes a sink, Corian countertops, a concealed trash bin and a 17.5-quart Igloo cooler. For added convenience and safety, the wetbar is fitted with a stainless grab rail and its hatches are supported with gas struts. To starboard, the 260 has a U-shape lounge that wraps from behind the helm seat to the stern bench. This boat was a Bank Repo. The previous owner took the motor and drive, then let the boat go back to the bank. It was never abused or mistreated like most Repo's... Whoever took the motor and drive had full intentions of buying the boat back. (My theory) I have had plenty of these and this one is different. The guy plugged the gas hose and clamped it. Left all the clamps for the exhaust. Unplugged, unbolted, then zip tied the wires up nicely out of the way. Left the drive and tab pumps in place. He Left the bolts and brackets for the steering, shifter, throttle, engine hatch, etc... This boat is all there except motor and drive. The seats are super clean, engine compartment is Nice, Cabin carpet and seats look new, open bow carpet and seats look new, and the gel coat is BAD ASS!! It does have Mercury K planes, HP Gimble, Rockford Fosgate Stereo,Single Hydraulic Steering, and drop out bolster seats. The batteries were there, hooked up, and even half charged. Everything is there except the Motor and Drive. There is a bag full of manuals that includes the gps, etc... The pics have some condensation on the gauges that IS NOT there now. Boat comes with several NEW life vests, several ropes, and 10" bouys. I do have an XR Drive for the boat for $3500.
