1939 Vintage Classic Original 15' Lyman Fisherman Antique Boat Original 15' 1939 Lyman Fisherman in excellent condition - lap strake, planked cypress and mahogany hull with 1 horsepower 24 volt inboard electric motor. Forward and reversing Curtis controller, 6 knot speed, all new oak ribs in 1992, original hull and bottom planking. It has an external rudder that is controlled by a rope loop so it can be steered from anywhere in the boat. Original oars also included. Galvanized single axle Continental trailer included. I purchased this boat 2 1/2 years ago from the person that rebuilt the boat and owned it for 20 years. I have only had it in the water twice. The hull and keel are in good condition for a 75 year old boat but the lower hull and keel need to stripped and re-caulked. I do not have the time or skills to tackle the job. The trailer and boat are both titled and registered in Indiana but are currently in covered storage in Florida. The trailer is fully functional with low mileage tires and a spare tire is included. The bunks on the trailer are adjusted to take weight off the keel. Includes three 12 volt deep cycle marine batteries purchased new batteries in 2012; Two batteries are for the drive and one is for the lights and bilge pump; 6-7 hour cruising possible on a full charge; battery chargers built in. Comfortably seats 3-4 people.
