This boat is Hull # 1, built by New England Boat Builders, this was designed as a racing ketch. Draft: 3'4" Displacement: 5,250 lbs. Ballast; 2,000 lbs. I paid $12,000 for this boat. Sailing Characteristics: Great sailing boat - extremely well balanced on all points of sail. Generous sail area performs well in light air. In heavier air, the ketch rig offers many options of sail combinations, with the boat handling very well under staysail and mizzen alone.
