1959 Cut Swift, XGS, Stepped Swift 13 ft. Serial # XGS179, in excellent condition! The XGS Swift is a very rare boat, as Penn Yan only made them for a couple of years and not that many of them. There were for racing or water skiing, as they tend to ride on the Step, and not make much wake. It is rated for a 40 hp motor, and can have more hp, when racing. It has its original, Ride Glide steering system, thus no cables or pulls. Installed on the boat is a great running Mercury Mark 55 1958, Thunderbolt, Serial # 1138048, restored and in excellent running condition. Has original paint and decals, motor has been totally gone over, (new fuel lines, re-built mag, fuel pump, water impeller, etc. etc). This motor was a one owner motor, I bought it from the original owner, (90 some years old) with very little use, sold new here in western PA. The Swift and Tee Nee trailer were also sold new, here in Western PA, by Kennerdale Marine. It has new canvas on it, with new paint, and was totally stripped and re-varnished! No broken ribs, etc, no broken screws etc. No leaks etc. The trailer is a Tee Nee 1959, tittle in PA, it was sandblasted to bare metal and repainted in original yellow, tires are radial, with buddy bearings, and original fenders and lettering on the fenders, it also has new bunks etc. little chipping from my using it last summer and a little this
