Up for sale is a 2010 Stratos 285XL dual console Bass Boat. I'm selling the boat because my wife unloaded on me that she is OK with getting an off-shore fishing boat, so, sorry for bass fishing...the Stratos has to go. The boat has a Johnson 150 motor with a Raker II prop on the back that runs at 55 MPH (on GPS) fully tournament rigged with 2 guys. They stopped making Johnsons some years back but the motor came new on the boat. It is the same exact motor as the Evinrude Intruder which was in production for decades; I had one on my old 285...love them both. The boat is in remarkable shape and shines and runs like its new. There are no rips or tears in the seats or carpet. I am 6'3 and weight 275 pounds and I fit great in the boat. If your tall and looking for boat this size, a 285 is what you want. I apologize that the vids are a little bright but my camera doesn't work that great in the sunshine. I assure you the boat is in excellent shape and as seen by the pics and vids, you will get exactly what you are expecting. Please don't think the spots on the carpet are serious; it's just water. The only flaw with the whole rig is the trailer brakes don't work. I pulled it for a while with a 2003 Durango and there was no problem stopping it. I can certainly show/demo the boat for anyone who is interested. Power and electronics: There is a 24 volt MinnKota Maxxum 70lb on the bow, 2 new TM batteries last year and one starting battery this year, a 2 bank MinnKota charger for the TM batteries and a single charger for the starting battery, a Humminbird 581 DI/GPS on the bow and a Humminbird 385 color FF/GPS on the dash. Additions: I fished a lot of night tournaments so I installed LED strip lights around the deck, LED lights in the live wells and put a spotlight on the trolling motor. I added a hanging tackle organization system in the tackle locker, a pump out for the livewell so you don't have to crawl under the back of the boat to fill a weigh bag, keel guard, LED taillights, and ratcheting tie down straps on the trailer. Boat also has a cover (not for travel). I am in the process of paying off my loan so I will have the title in hand in about 2 weeks.
