This 36MKII has been well maintained and updated and cared for with updated electronics. Can easily be hauled out for a survey if needed. The seller states everything is in working condition. The generator is potable and comes with 3 blade prop. Has a portable AC 13,000 BTU but it's not fixed. Nice boat and beautifully designed. 1967 Bertram Moppy - Center Console - Outboard Cuddy, 1967/2015 Bertram 25 center console outboard No expense spared in this 5 year retrofit. Everything new except the hull, cap, stringers, and some original vintage hardware. Vinelester resins, heavy rovens and biax used throughout. Ice blue gelcoat hull, snow white gelcoat top and bottom, tan gelcoat decks . The only painted surfaces are the custom outboard bracket and the bulkheads in the cabin. T top, console, hard top, leaning post, outboard bracket, 4 large side panels, cabin door, etc are custom made. Stainless rubrail, led bow lights, lighted cup holders, 114 gallon fuel tank, pumps, wiring etc are new. The teak accents on the exterior have been kept minimal for ease of use and maintenance. The interior boasts teak and holly sole and bulkheads, new cushions and PVC beadboard headliner. The boat is currently powered by twin 225 hp 2-stroke Johnsons. Running 14.5 x 19 props she cruises at 40 mph @ 4300 rpm and has a top speed of 54 mph. I believe that a pair of 150s or single 300hp would still get this boat close to 50 mph and sip fuel. She was repowered in 2011 with twin 1996 Evinrude 225 Ocean Pros that had approximately 200 hours on them at the time. DETAILS: -Lowrance HDS 8 Gen 2 (structure scan & 80/200 transducers) plus sonic hub. -Cockpit speakers are Kicker separates and kicker coax (new). -Cabin speakers are Bose. -There is an additional MBQuart amp running some speakers. -Standard Horizon VHF with remote microphone -Simpson-Lawrence windlass -Faria Guages -OMC oil tanks new -OMC dual binnacle throttle new -Johnson raw water pump new -Johnson fresh water pump new -Raw water wash down -Removable transom seat new upholstery -Removable jump seat behind helm new -Helm seat w/dual flip up bolsters new -Dual battery charger new -Fuel and oil lines are new -Fuel sending unit is new -Grounding plate is new -Shore power -AC panel in cabin is new. -The boat does not have a plumbed head, but rather a porta-potty. -All cleats have been reinforced with 1/4 inch aluminum backing plates, and those plates are covered in anti-corrosive coating. -Nav lights are all new -Cockpit has blue led lighting -All thru hulls were replaced, as well as drain lines going to them. All the wiring in the boat is new except for the cabin lights, cabin AC outlets, overhead light in the head and anchor/stern light on top of radar arch. BOAT OWNER'S NOTES: DESCRIPTION: 1986 ODAY 272 sailboat, documented vessel, on a mooring in New Bedford, Mass. I have owned this boat for 5yrs and because of its 3ft draft and wing keel it has allowed me to slip in small inlets and anchorages. FEATURES AND EQUIPMENT: The main sale is 2yrs old and the genoa is wrapped on a CDI roller furling, new jib sheets and 150ft of chain and line, are in working order. Two type 1 PFD'S along with a life sling that ties to the rail for MOB maneuvers. For long passages the captain can use the autopilot and if the sun gets to hot you can snap on the dodger. I have sailed solo for the most part but the cockpit can seat 4 people nicely. The galley sleeps 4 adults and with a 9ft beam it is very spacious. Cushions are not worn or ripped and teak interior makes it very cozy. There are two sinks, one next to a private head and the aft sink alongside an icebox, Thirty gallon water tank and fifteen gallon waste tank make a three day cruise extremely comfy, VHF marine radio along with speed and depth gauge are mounted in the cockpit. ENGINE: The 9.9 high thrust Yamaha OB has been maintained annually with fuel filter, water pump, spark plugs and grease. This cruiser has made a round trip cruise from RI to New Bedford, Mass every year and the OB motor has never failed. Mooring on Popes Island, N Bedford is included.
