It was the first of the popular Lancer built 39' motorsailers. The boat was a major breakthrough in hull design to yield a hull that can plane under power and still provide the sailing lines to make a competitive sailboat.Additional Information: This 39' Lancer has had and extensive reconditioning over 2012. Two raw water pumps were rebuilt. The fuel system was completely cleaned out and refueled. Engines serviced and filters changed. Four No. 27 batteries were replaced. Raw water systems were cleaned and flushed. The mast was pulled, and all of the rigging was inspected. The roller furling on the jib and main were serviced and repaired. The main sheet was replaced. The deck woodwork was striped and re varnished. The boat was hauled out; two coats of bottom paint, shafts pulled and refurbished, props replaced, shaft logs repaired, engine mounts and realignment. The yacht is in excellent mechanical condition.
