1994 Powerquest 257/260 Legend bowrider. With a 454 Mercruiser Magnum 7.4L 365HP. As good, if not better in quality then a Formula or Cobalt. I do not think there is a cleaner 94 Powerquest 257 then this one. This truly is a barn find, This boat has been sitting in my Barn for years. I bought this boat years ago with No Power, It has been sitting in my nice clean and dry barn, Over the past year, I re powered it with a rebuilt 454 Mercruiser Magnum (365HP) and Bravo XR Performance sterndrive. The boat has approx 300 orig. hours on it, the rebuilt engine and sterndrive have less then a hour. I have over 30 years experience as a boat mechanic, check out how neat the engine install is, (see pictures.) The boat has always been in immaculate condition, the gel coat shines like new, the interior... dash,carpets, seats, structure's and compartments are all in great shape. The boat comes with a Factory, cockpit and bow cover. There is nothing negative to say about this boat, I have completely gone over the whole boat, everything works as it should. This is a VERY deep boat, Is has lots of storage, it has a large storage area in the floor that holds, skis wakboards and such, it has a small cabin in front of the passenger helm seat and a enclosed Bathroom with marine head in front of the driver helm seat. This 1991 Proline Walkaround was made back when quality still mattered & a good brand name didn't mean selling out to the highest bidder. She's a strong hull and 90% of the way restored to glory. All systems work, all wiring has been redone, all lights have been converted to led. The list of options is a long one... New dash with all new gauges & switches (even a dual USB charging port), new underwater led lights, new horn, new led aft light, led cabin lights, led spreader lights that make it look like daytime in the enormous fishing area, 4 batteries with 2 perko switches (the 2 house batteries are brand new group 31 deep cycles), transom livewell, huge in deck fish boxes, new fresh water pump. All cushions were recovered a few years ago & look great. This sucker is ready to fish! The motors are 1998 evinrude 225'S. They were rebuilt about 2 years ago & just had over $3000 spent to replace both complete ignition system with new oem parts (stators, regulators,power packs, timer bases). The engines are strong & have gotten us through many trips in the keys & offshore. It's huge 10.5' beam gives it a ton of space for fishing or just cooking out with friends. The bottom was painted, but if u plan on keeping it in the water, it will need repainted. The motor trim units both need new seals, they work, but I have to add fluid about once a month.
