For sale is a 1971 Flying Scot. Hull number 1886. The boat is ready to be dropped in the water and is currently sailed by me and the kids. The bottom is unpainted. Condition if the boat is clean with some cosmetic blemishes. It does pass the 10 foot test though. The hull has no soft or wet spots - very sound. It comes with 4 sets of sails, some newer and some older, but all in good used condition. Spinnaker and a pole are also included. Also included is a newish blue mooring cover, which I had never used since it lives on the trailer. It sits on a 2002 Loadrite galvanized trailer, which is in excellent condition with good tires, new bearings and races with bearing buddies, new lights and title in hand. A like new Honda 2hp motor, perfect size for this boat, is included in the price. The motor has fresh oil change and starts on the first pull and never quits. Until I forget to add gas, that is. For those who are not familiar wit the Flying Scott, do a Google search - Plenty of good info online. I bought it to teach my kids the love of sailing. To let them experience the feeling when the boat catches the wind and starts pulling like a train. This boat is fast and stable - two characteristics that rarely go together in a 19 footer. Safety and stability was one of the reasons I went with FS and I do not regret it. Now, the family wants a larger boat. The price includes everything listed above plus a bunch of misc. stuff, which typically sloshes around in the bilge, like anchor, oars, cushions, bailing pumps, extra lines, etc... Also available a 1989 5HP Gamefisher motor with long shaft. This motor has been in storage for 10 years and has very low use. The boat must be picked up by the buyer. Some Specs, fresh water sink/washdown capacity is 20 gallons, Fuel 120 gallons, cruising speed is a about 28 mph at 3800 rpm fuel burn at this setting is about 11 gal per hour. Full throttle speed is 46mph but I never run it that hard as its a big waste of fuel. 1989 Stamas Family Fisherman Cuddy Cabin Walkaround I have owned this boat since 2006. It has always been well maintained, and is in very good condition for it's age. I have taken it out to sea once, rest of my trips was on freshwater lakes. This boat is in very good working condition, and it is ready to go to sea or the lake immediately. Stamas builds excellent boats, and this one is no exception Hull length - 25.5' (31.5' measured from front of pulpit to rear of motors) Beam - 8.5' Hull material - Fiberglass Power - 2 x Counter Rotating 1998 250hp Mercury EFI Saltwater outboard engines. The port motor has had the power head rebuilt (caused by an oil pump failure) and has done approx 20 hrs, basically a new motor. The starboard engine has approx 700 hrs. Both EFI systems have been serviced, new parts where necessary, ultrasonically cleaned & injectors flow tested. New spark plugs and filters installed. The motors run as they should, plenty of power for this boat. There are water pump pressure gauges installed, both motors pump as they should. Up for sale is my 1997 Proline DC 202. I have owned this boat for 5 years and have docked it locally. It is in good condition and the engine runs strong. Boart has live well, built in cooler, depth finder am/fm/cd. Bimini Top. Plenty of built in rod holders. This boat is perfect for fishing or leisure. Plenty of seating for the family. I have only used this boat in Fresh water and was told I am the second owner. Selling because I recently moved and no longer use. IT has not been in the water since fall of 2013. The boat is powered by a 1997 Force by Mercury Marine 120HP engine premix. I replaced the plugs and impeller in 2013 along with outdrive clutches and shift cables. I also replaced the prop and will include 2 interchangeable pitched props. The included trailer is a 1997 Loadrite. It will need a new tire but will have it replaced as part of the sale. SALES TAX Diamond Marine collects Connecticut sales tax from Connecticut residents. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the item will be registered.TEMPORARY TRANSPORT PLATES For residents of the United States, we can provide a CT DMV 30 day temporary transit plate for your trailer, issued right here at Diamond Marine. For non-residents of the United States the cost is $20 but must be obtained at the local Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle office ( approx. 10 miles away) during their hours of operation. Terms:PAYMENT TERMS A winning bidder is required to contact us and give a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the closing of auction to secure the item. Buyer agrees to pay balance due ( plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of auction unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the item.
