Classic LoneStar boat, 1960 or 1959 with similar year 35hp Evinrude engine. Trailer has wiring but not the lights; and winch cable without end clip, so just tie-up. All is in working condition. Boat solid, not take on any water; and updated with better seating and fastback cover over rear section boat. Engine I've replaced carburetor and manifold in prior years. Starts fine, runs trolling speed only, has minor water leak around one of the manifold screw holes. Throttle cable plastic covering has clean break in one part of it, not the cable. So for now keep duct taped that one separation together for operation. But do have a new throttle cable in the boat. Does not have battery, but could include old one to get started (not sure how long would last). Does not have 5 gallon used gas can in pictures but would include used one. A classic boat/engine for restoraton like a classic car; has that finned upper rear look. Otherwise just fine for trolling around a lake slowly till throttle up fixed. Have had since new for 55 years on the Horseshoe Chain of Lakes in Central MN (just west of St Cloud). Boat for local pickup only on Horseshoe Chain, and sold "As Is". This classic vessel is perfect for trying your fishing hand or going for a float on the water. The Lone-Star fishing boat has some worn out seats, and areas with chipped paint. The motor runs well at low to mid throttle, but bogs down at higher throttle. A professional tune up would do wonders by getting the carburetor set-up properly (~$250 for a professional tune up). We never tried to pull anyone on skis or a tube with it, but after reading some boat enthusiast forums it appears that the 55HP Evinrude motor should be able to pull someone on skis or in a tube behind you. The boat has not been run in a year, but we would be happy to start up the motor for you if you are considering buying this boat. 1998 Etchells 30foot sailboat for sale. Race or daysail, she is ready to win. Mint condition, needs nothing. Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Boat is located in Connecticut and is in Excellent condition, great trailer, new mast and boat cover, great set of sails. She is from a run of exceptionally fast boats in 1997, as she is a very stiff boat that has only been lightly sailed over the past 6 seasons.I have over $20000 invested into this boat, and am selling it at a bargain price! 1098 has a great history, originally sailed out of Texas under the name of ‘Lone Star’, and has a winning record. She was then sailed occasionally out of Colorado and pretty much sat on land since 2010. I bought her in 2013 and transported her to the northeast because this was the highest quality boat I could find for the money. I invested hours and time into updated the running and standing rigging, floorboards, and paying attention to the details. Every piece of deck hardware was removed and rebedded with new stainless hardware. The hull, gel-coat and keel are in regatta race condition, the hull has been previously faired. The trailer is a Dual axle trailer and 3 trailer boxes, refurbished and updated in 2010. In 2013 it received a NEW dual axle Disk Brake conversion kit installed with new coupler that cost about $1600. The bearings and tires are in new condition. The trailer is ready to travel anywhere. New Stuff; North Sails boat and boom cover. Custom tiller. Proctor/Selden new in 2010, mast used a couple of times since 2010. Standing Rigging with Ronstan turnbuckles. All new halyards. New set of sails in used on a half dozen Sundays. 2 radial spinnakers, used only once. Have other great spinnakers too.
