1986 Luhrs Alura This Luhrs Alura 30 "Lyric" has been well maintained and meticulous cared for. This is by far one of the nicest and most well cared for Luhrs Aluras that I have seen. The boat shows like a much newer vessel. Low hours of 704 on the 270HP engine with a compression test completed 11-2015 at the time that the manifolds and risers were replaced. The scooped area in the transom allows for easy access to the swim platform and stainless steel ladder.   Fwd on deck you have a molded-in self draining anchor stowage locker. The bow rail is stainless steel and mounted on the deck to allow for easy movement in safe conditions whether anchored or underway. Additional deck gear include 10" bow and stern cleats, spring line cleats, and stainless steel handrails on the cabin top. The entire deck area has been designed for ease of movement and low maintenance. The windshield on both port and starboard sides can be opened in varying adjustable positions with windshield wipers.   The cabin area sports a 6' 4" headroom that allows you and your crew ease of movement. Forward, the berthing area comes complete with sleeping for 2 with two additional swing up bunks. The dinette is an adjustable pedestal table that converts to a large 7 1/2' X 7' sleeping area. All cushions are fabric covered. The teak and holly sole is finished in polyurethane for low maintenance.   The galley is complete with a 2-burner alcohol stove, an easy accessible icebox and a stainless steel sink. Stowage is plentiful in the galley and throughout the rest of the cabin area.   There is an enclosed head, complete with shower, hot and cold pressurized water system, sink and mirror. 1986 Luhrs Alura QUEST features a hard top with three side enclosure, recent bottom paint, and long term owner who has maintained her and kept at his home fresh water dock.  All maintenance records since 1993.  QUEST has removable fishing outriggers.  New boot stripe, gunwale stripe and cabin stripe repainted in 2000.  Updates and ready for her new owner. The Alura is designed with a deep cockpit and distinctive Downeast profile plus she is a versatile, full-keel fishing boat suitable for diving, day-tripping, fishing or a comfortable weekend cruise.  The cockpit measures a spacious 110 square feet in size and the scooped area on the transom allows for many uses. With her high free-board and excellent nonskid surfaces, the cockpit is a secure place for children and pets.  A pair of adjustable seats are forward, molded-in fish boxes in the cockpit sole, and a bait well are standard.  Helm and companion seats offer excellent visibility and the windshield opens for ventilation.  The wide decks offer excellent around the boat maneuverability.  With 6 feet 4 inches of interior headroom, the interior of the Alura 30 is quite comfortable for two and will even sleep 4.  There are berths for four with the two swing up bunks and the large V-berth, an enclosed head with shower, and a full galley with sink and pressure hot and cold water.  Cooking is done with an alcohol stove while chilled items are stored in an in-counter ice box.  Additional features include and anchor locker, four opening ports and a swim platform.  The single 270 hp gasoline engine will cruise the boat at 15 knots while wide open is 22 knots.
