1983 Seguin -Lyman Morse MD22 SEGUIN LYMAN-MORSE 46 CUTTER 1983. Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Lyman-Morse, SCRIMSHAW is one of the most sought after classic boats on the market.  SCRIMSHAW has only had thee owners since her original commissioning.  She is designed to be sailed offshore comfortably by a couple or a small family. Her current owners sailed her to New Zealand in 1999. They continue to use her for week-end sailing, and are not planning anymore long range trips. This blue water vessel is ready for Catalina and to cruise the oceans of your choice.  The Seguin Model is hand laid fiberglass hull and deck over Airex core. Fiberglass over marine plywood house with the top laminated deck and beams. Solid teak decks overlay screwed to sub decked bedded in 5200. Below the water line an external lead fin keel with a skeg rudder.  SCRIMSHAWs interior is practical, pretty and purposeful with things like a work bench, an easily accessible diesel engine, cozy wall-mounted cabin stove, inordinately large battery bank, water maker and a washer/dryer.  She sleeps 6 in her custom layout , 1 head, roomy stowage and good ventilation with 64 headroom. Forward, there is a chain locker which gives access to the chain.  It has a trough which moves the chain further aft repositioning the weight away from the stem.  It is followed by spacious double v-berth with voluminous stowage beneath. Aft of the berth port and starboard there are dressers with drawers and lockers above. There are lights for each berth and a fan. Next aft is the head to port with sink, shower, a manual toilet and stowage lockers. A full height locker with washer and dryer and more storage is across from the head to starboard.  Aft of the head is the main saloon with settee berths port and starboard, with large bookshelves above flanked by front lockers to starboard and a hanging locker and spinnaker storage to port. Most locker doors are fashioned with a grated insert, providing ventilation and interesting visual detail.  To port is a  charming diesel fired cabin heater (needs servicing).  Outboard of the stove is a TV with a DVD player.  To starboard is a cabinet with countertop and storage above.  A drop leaf table is between the berths with drawers and a large stowage bin. Outboard of each berth, and beneath the bookshelves and lockers, are easily accessed stowage compartments. The galley island has access, both to port and starboard to passageway fore and aft.  Plenty of galley stowage outboard, and, above, a reefer (which runs on 110v and engine driven cold plate system) with separate large freezer, both with custom built cold plates. Inboard, and over the engine, is additional counter space with drawer,
