1961 Lyman Sleeper Im proud to offer a classic 24 Lyman Sleeper. This is a one owner boat and has been used only in Lake George, NY. It lives summers in a boathouse and goes into a boat shed each winter. It recently got repowered with a 400 cu in/250 hp V8 engine. The original Greymarine Fireball 238 engine is available. There is also a storage trailer with this boat as seen in some of the photos.

1963 Lyman Sleeper Hardtop,Great family boat docked at Edgewater Yacht Club in downtown Cleveland. 188 HP Grey Marine completely rebuilt in 2012 by Van Ness Engineering (best in the business). Solid teak decks rebuilt in 2012, complete sunbrella mooring cover, Fusion/Bose stereo system, dual batteries, depth sounder, teak platform, and all new upholstery. 1962 Vintage 24'6" Inboard Sleeper boat Name CARPIE DIEM Beam 8' 10 " Draft 2'4" Freeboard forward 3' 8' Free board AFT 2' 10" Depth Floor to rail 3' 1" AFT Cockpit length 8'1" Weight ( approx ) 3,400 lbs .Motor 275 HP Chrysler Engine installed with 100 Hrs in 1989 .Engine hrs approx 400 hrs .Motor ID E594030 Boat ID 240789E762 There was a new stainless steel shaft installed 2007 when I purchased the boat. The boat was in the water Summer of 2007 and has been on the trailer at our cottage on Catawba Island every year since ,we were going to launch ,but due to business obligations we were unable to enjoy, which has continued. So we decided to sell so someone else can enjoy. The trailer comes with the boat of course .The tires on the trailer have tread but are old and not the best . The trailer is metal with a wooden cradle and is as old as the boat and is ok for short distances . The boat has repairs needed on the deck around where the rails are attached and on both corners on the top rear transom where the varnish has dried out and peeled the same has happen in small areas throughout the boat.There is no Rot that I have noticed the boat seems to be solid throughout . The mooring cover is 7 years old and has been patched in a couple areas. There are new cushions and backs for all seats and in excellent condition the cost was $ 1,200.00 .
