2010 Macgregor 26M These boats are quite amazing as it is possible to sail or even water-ski behind her. She is on a twin axle trailer and her rigging can be raised single handed. Great condition! We purchased a larger sailboat, time to move the Mac on to its next owner! See pictures below description. ALL pictures of the actual hull for sale As you may know Macgregor is no longer building sailboats. The new company Tattoo Yachts, is also no longer producing a 26 foot sailboat. The supplies of these boats are limited to the boats that are already made. This is a perfect opportunity to purchase one of the best condition 26M sailboats out there. The trailer is the superior (despite popular belief) steel trailer. (later models have an aluminum frame, but still have a STEEL tongue, axle, bunk supports which all rust/fail as well). The trailer with this boat was professionally rebuilt with a 1/4" thick steel tongue, rustproofed on the inside (where ALL the Macgregor trailers fail first) and painted with rustproofing paint. There is a new surge brake actuator, as well as new brake calipers and brake pads. The brake line is made of stainless steel. The lighting system is newly wired with LED lights. New winch, winch strap, new security chain, new tongue winch. Bunk boards rebuilt as well. I have for sale a 1995 Macgregor 26S. Nice trailer sailor in good condition. Has a lot of extras. 2006 Honda 9.9 outboard 80 hours. canvas for pop top. extra head sail. roller furler. clean interior. please e mail or call for more info. please include the word bicycle as the subject. These are great tailersailers. Instead of having a solid keel withh a 5ft draft that is completely confined to a specific sailing area, this type of boat has a water balast system and a swing centerboard. Basicly there isa tank in the bottom of the boat that fills with 1200lbs of water and that is what keeps the boat righted. This allows the boat to be pulled out of the water with a basic boat trailer, the water drained out, drop the mast, and take it home. That is the biggest reason most people buy these boats.....they do not have to be confined to a slip all year and pay a travel lift to pull it out of the water and then pay for storage. I have a video of me sailing this boat. This boat is in good shape for a 20 year old boat. It has a new radio and speakers, depth sounder, and wiring. Has roller furing, traveler, 2 head sail, pop top cover, nice cusions, new rub rail,, nice honda 9.9, new bottom paint last may. This boat is in the water and ready to sail right now, I will be happy to take anyone interested for a sail. As with any boat there are things that need work. The only 2 things that I know of with this boat is the VHF needs the antena hooked up, and the 100 jib that is on it is in fine shape but the UV cover is coming unstitched.

1984 Watkins 25, 1984 Watkins 25 with Yanmar diesel engine and 1997 galvanized tandem axle trailer. Pressure water system with sinks in galley and head. Shower. 30" draft fixed keel ( no swing keel problems). 5'11" headroom ( no pop top). Ready to cruise today. Was last out on 5 day trip in May 2016, NOT a project. Engine has NEW cylinder head, water pump, stainless steel mixing elbow, thermostat, filters and oil, RUNS GREAT. Burns a quart of diesel per hour at 6 knots (24 MPG under power!). Delta fast-set and Danforth anchors with chain rode. Solar panels, 2 house batteries and start battery. 4 NEW tires on trailer. Dinghy Davits. 2 sets of sails, never used new halyard. Electric gin pole to raise mast & trailer launch system to use regular boat ramps. I love this boat. Hate to sell, health issues. See Watkinsowners website for a wealth of information on these little known wonderful boats. While this boat could go to the Caribbean today, it does need anti fouling bottom paint. NEW cutlas bearing and packing. I'm sure there's more than I'm not thinking of now. Do NOT call to help me sell, $11,500 or reasonable offer. Cash only, no bs.
