1989 Mako (New Power! Low Hours!) FOR QUESTIONS CONTACT: Adam 610-731-7037 or This is a 1989 Mako 260 Walkaround powered by twin 2005 Evinrude 200HP Etec outboards with only 380 hours! Boat has always been maintained with an open checkbook. Boat was lift kept in the upper Chesapeake from new until 2010 (brackish water/no offshore use). It was repowered in 2005. Current owner bought the boat from the original owners in 2010 with 50 hours on the new motors. Current owner has spent a small fortune making the boat as perfect as can be and it shows!. SPECIFICATIONS: -1989 Mako 260 -28ft length, (30ft-6in with pulpit) -8ft-6in beam -23 degree deadrise -200 gal fuel tank -Approx 9,000 Loaded POWER AND PERFORMANCE: -2005 Etec 200HP motors -Approx 380 hours (3.3L engines, not the smaller 2.7L) -3 year service performed in late 2013 -Cruise 27-33mph -Top Speed 49mph -Will comfortably stay on plane as slow as 18mph with the new props. -1.5mpg at cruise fully loaded for offshore CABIN: -V-Berth with convertible table. The enclosure is designed so the helm has a doorway and the rest of enclosure can remain intact when fishing during the Fall. -Installed cockpit combing bolsters (Costa Marine) -Applied five coats of Interlux barrier paint followed by Micron CSC ablative paint. -New stainless 17P BRP Rebel props -Extra set of stainless steel props. -New Teleflex shift and throttle cables for both engines. -New Taco 270 outrigger bases and Lee 16 extra strong poles -New Bennett trim tab assemblies. Assemblies were completely replaced with including actuators. -Custom 3/4in Starboard splash gate is water tight except for the one-way scuppers. -Completely replumbed live well setup. Installed Whale diaphragm pump and new above water-line thru-hull to pump contents overboard. A separate pump feeds fresh salt water into the live well. An new overflow thru-hull keeps the box from overflowing. -Installed LED underwater lights (Blue/White combo) -New Fusion stereo and ran speakers into the cockpit. -New VHF radio and antenna. -Replaced all original sea cocks with new bronze sea cocks. -Replaced all engine fuel lines, fuel tank fill line and fuel vent line, etc (had the deck off the boat for awhile). -Replaced a large portion of the electrical wiring and added a second switch panel at helm. -Added second bilge pump and above water thru-hull discharge (Three bilge pumps total, all have been replaced with new pumps) -Added high water alarm with buzzer at helm. -Replaced all cockpit deck lights, anchor light, running lights, etc. -Installed a 12V outlet at the helm.
