1980 S 2 9.2A,Ready for reliable and safe cruising, this boat has been well maintained and has had almost every system on board extensively overhauled by the current owner over the last 6 years, including a complete engine room refit in 2012 (brand new Yanmar 2YM15 installed on custom fabricated stringer/mount system along with new exhaust, hoses, fuel tank, Campbell Sailor 3-blade prop, stainless prop shaft trued and balanced).Also overhauled: all thru-hulls (replaced with Marelon 2009-2011), fresh water system (new tank and filter installed, along with hoses 2010), head/holding tank (new hoses, macerator, and holding tank level sensor installed 2008-2011), navigation and VHF radio (Rayarine autopilot, Lowrance chart plotting GPS linked to autopilot and DSC equipped radio installed 2010). New lines and masthead sheaves 2009, custom headsail installed 2010. All A/C outlets and shore power plug replaced 2010, DC batteries and switch replaced 2008. V-berth cushions new 2008. Manson Supreme 25lb anchor and rhode new 2008. Dual bilge pump system installed 2010. Other upgrades not listed.S2s are known for solid hulls and good sailing. The 9.2A feels big for its size, with a nice interior layout.
