Complete custom restoration! Repowered! Ready for your next adventure! This 1982 26 foot Clipper Craft has been custom built by the owner. It's like a brand new boat. The original hull has totally new construction and is repowered with a Yamaha 200 HP 4-stroke engine. The 1982 original hull was completely stripped down and new fiberglass was applied to the inside and outside of the hull prior to constructing the remainder of the vessel. The construction material used is all marine plywood finished with fiberglass applied with epoxy resin. This Clipper Craft is ready for fishing adventures. She is turn-key including all-new Garmin electronics, necessary safety equipment, and navigational lights. Included is a 22 gallon live bait tank and an approximately 500 lbs insulated fish hold. Once you reach your favorite fishing spot use the Lone Star Marine drum anchor winch, which contains 250 foot 1/4 inch Sampson Braid with a 50 foot 1/4" galvanized chain with 11-pound Lewmar anchor. Dual batteries with ProSport 12 charger keeps everything running. The inboard engine has been removed and the inboard engine through-hole has been glassed over. No hauling it out and replacing the inboard engine seal! And no risk of boat sinking from the engine. Seacocks have been capped off from outside. Better this way as the risk of them breaking and sinking the boat is not an issue. Seacocks aren't used anyway, onboard holding tank is used instead. Most everywhere the boat has received a fresh coat of marine paint. In the last year the rails and old railing rusty bolts have been removed, bolt holes for railings treated with hardening epoxy and sealant, and rails reinstalled to the deck with new stainless steel bolts. At this time new cleats were also installed to the deck and bolts and bolt holes also retreated as the railing bolts were. A leaky window in the V-berth was deleted and sealed over with fiberglass. The window was not useful where it was located and would leak on rainy days so I had it removed. All external lights were replaced with new stainless steel lights that work great. There is a bilge vent installed where the old blower motor was so that there is adequate airflow in the bilge. The shower works off of pressurized shore water hookup, no 12v pump. 120v breakers for all electrical outlets and appliances. 12v +/- panels with all fuses working. Brand new marine grade water resistant 30A electrical cable to connect shore power. Recently installed stainless steel hose cable to connect to shore water. 1962 GOLD COAST CLIPPER WOODEN BOAT (More pictures below) I have for sale a 1962 Gold Coast Clipper wood boat in very good condition. 16' wooden boat with 1988 Johnson 48 HP outboard motor, TeeNee trailer and cover. Bench seat in front seats 4. Manufactured by Pompano Boat Co., Pompano Beach, FL. I purchased it in 1973 from Trigg Marine in Youngstown, OH. and have owed it for 42 years. No battery. Last time in the water was in summer 2012, motor was serviced at that time and ran great. Very good condition, well cared for. Includes hitch dolly to move around. Has always been stored inside whenever it's not in the water. Like most wooden boats this one leaks a little after it's out of the water for the winter. It needs "taken up" before placing it in water. I would usually run a hose and fill the inside of the hull a day or two before I used it. The wood needs to swell up a little. Local Pick Up Only. If you are looking for a sailboat that needs nothing read further. I purchased this sailboat a little more than a year ago as part of my retirement plans. I purchased it from the family of the original owner. It was in very good condition, however it had the original very basic outfitting, being used primarily as a daysailer.
