Here's the TLDR;6 HP 2 stroke outboard Yamaha, runs well, no issues.Roller furling but missing jibMain sail, good conditionBrand new marine battery20 gallon fresh water tankOrigo alcohol stovePorta-potty As a boater, I understand the need to know everything about a boat - so below is a thorough walkthrough. I bought this boat hoping to sail it south this winter - I tried, but discovered the hard way that I need a 30-odd foot vessel to make that trip safely. The original owner had it for a long time and took very good care of it. At 25', it has about 6 feet of headroom and is both comfortable to stay in but also just small enough to put on a trailer. Hull: This boat is solid as a rock. The hull and deck are in excellent condition - no transom spidering, little deck spidering, no signs of soft spots in the cored deck, the through-hulls and seacocks have been maintained and are in good condition. The through deck fittings are all in good order and there is no leakage through the deck in a rain. Sails: -Mainsail in good condition. I have sailed with this sail; it works well and points high. It has a little cosmetic imperfection but has no tears or structural issues. Mast track slides, battens, and grommets in good order. -The boat needs a jib. There is a Furlex roller furling unit (Furlex Type A MKII) installed and in good order that is ready to accept a roller furling jib with #5 luff tape. Or a hank-on jib could be bent on. Engine: 2-stroke 6hp Yamaha outboard - long shaft, on an adjustable transom mount. Runs very smoothly and quietly. 100:1 fuel:oil ratio. Drop down engine mount, throttle extension for easy use from cockpit.I think the manufacturing date is late 1980s or early 1990s. I am presently looking into the exact date. Interior: From bow to stern: V-berth with plenty of stowage below, Head with port-a-potty, sink, and medicine cabinet, Main salon with 2 berths/benches, fold-down table, storage under berths, shelving on each side,Galley with large ice box, slide-out double Origo alcohol stove, sink, dish storage, and counter space,Rear bilge accessible from cockpit- lots of stowage space. The previous owner did extensive work varnishing the teak and upholstering the walls and ceiling with carpetry. The cushions are in good condition with a few minor tears. Systems: -Brand new Sportsman marine battery - I bought this new in October as the one that came with the boat was flat. I have only used it very lightly (only for VHF and running lights) and it is sitting at full capacity.-Solar panel to recharge battery-Electrical system in good condition throughout boat - masthead VHF radio, speedometer, engine startup, interior lighting, electric heater, masthead and running lights (stbd. bulb needs replacement), connection to solar panel for battery charging-Refrigerator for shore power-Yamaha Fuel tank and extra gas can, gas line with bulb in good flexible condition with spare line also in good condition. Both filled with new gas/oil mix in October-Large water tank with connections to head and galley sinks (galley pump faucet needs replacement)-Deluxe port-a-potty - odorless system and easy removal. Through-hull and deck pumpout fittings are in place to install a proper head if desired (just need head, holding bladder, and septic lines) Gear: -Danforth anchor with lots of chain and long, good condition, strong line. I have slept overnight on this anchor.-Lots of spare 3 strand and double braided polyester line-Boat hooks, fenders, life sling-Shore power cable-Small library of classic sailing books-Multiple sets of nautical charts for Long Island Sound-Multiple sets of traditional course-plotting gear-Dry box, tools and lots of spare sailing parts-Boat cleaning, engine maintenance, and interior upholstery products-Fish Finder-Extra bilge pumps-Big set of Coast Guard passable PFDs-2 fire extinguishers Other items: -Aluminum mast, boom, gooseneck, and spreaders all in solid condition. There is some scuffing on the anodized layer. Standing rigging and chainplates mounted into the deck in good condition and vertically braced inside the boat.-The bottom has been dived on and cleaned regularly - thick paint job from a year ago is holding up excellently. No signs of blistering.-Rudder is a tiller control and has a tiller extension and a simple homemade autopilot system.-All deck fittings and running rigging present and accounted for - 2 jib winches and 1 halyard winch in good working order (port jib winch should get new bearings), traveller bar/car solid and working though needs new bearings. Jib tracks and cars in good condition, roller furling unit and extrusion in working order. The line and the blocks of the main halyard, jib halyard, spinnaker halyard, main sheet, vang, backstay, outhaul, downhaul, and reefing line are all in good condition. Please feel free to ask me any questions; I will check this listing daily.-Brian

Best type for heating cooling temperature control inside and noise reduction. Deck is 1 1/2" 2 layers solid and cored FRP laminates. I've lived on her last five years dockside, underway, on the hard, at anchor and sailing cruising often solo across 20,000 miles of ocean from Seattle down West Coast thru Hawaii into South Pacific & back to Hawaii. I had a two phase plan to refit, fix her up allowing me to enjoy cruising the Pacific Ocean and isles. I completed phase one but developed a condition two years past that now forces me to sell. An alternative to paying $150,000 for a similar in excellent condition or $80,000 with a running old engine worn and soon to fail or mandates a rebuild. Is to buy cheap get a great hull, good rigging & sail gear, anchoring system, versatile spacious interior to be used as is & continue remodeling or redo to your own liking while enjoying life aboard and/or sailing. Or an alternative housing scenario. That alternative is this. The 2010 survey put the boat at a $400,000 replacement cost, a $115,000 - $140,000 refit complete value and $85,000 market value. The prior owner needed a survey for bank loan and insurance. 2010 survey available upon request plus 2012 addendum.

A fully articulating FLIR night vision camera system has also been added. The original Bennett trim tabs were replaced with Zipwake interceptors which utilize a built-in GPS to set them for maximum performance, at the helm is the interceptor LCD controller. The vessel has a Garmin AIS with an emergency button. VHF Garmin radio is new. Sirius weather antenna is on the mast. For real-time weather (wind speed, direction, and other parameters) an Airmar solid-state weather station is on the top of the mast. Weather is displayed on an additional Garmin screen (GMI 20) which helps when docking in windy conditions. The spotlight has been replaced with a Jabsco wireless control on the helm for pan tilt and changes from the spotlight to floodlight modes. This vessel even has a Garmin forward-looking sonar to help in shallow waters. There is a pan/tilt aft-facing camera to assist in maneuvering, which can be displayed on either of the Garmin chart plotters or on the TV. Aft Cockpit The aft cockpit was professionally installed at Newport Shipyard in 2014. An engineering study was completed by Gurit (a Danish firm specializing in marine construction) relating to the attachment and construction of the project. Since 2014 the aft cockpit extension has performed flawlessly. The vessel underway with the extension is stable and performance is excellent. The extension includes a built-in curved couch with Sunbrella nautical-themed stripes which match throughout the vessel. All exterior cushions have closed cell foam for no water absorption. A teak custom inlaid epoxy coated table adorns the sitting area. A port-side refrigerator is built into the extension bearing the Meridian logo engraved upon the door. Above the fridge is a clever pull-out electric grill. Multiple storage areas are under the couches. At the stern of the platform is a large hydraulic hatch for additional storage. The rear of the extension has a swim platform with a hatch for stowing the flip-out telescopic ladder. Appropriate cleats are attached to the platform. Upper Cockpit The upper cockpit has a couch which was installed as this space on a standard 408 is vacant. It has upgraded Sunbrella fabric which matches all other cushions. The couch has storage under cushions and a storage compartment. The couch has stainless cupholders. Across from the couch is a sink with storage cabinets for liquor bottles and a full-size ice maker in the adjacent cabinet. The port and starboard clear curved windows were originally plastic and were easily scratched and were replaced with tempered glass. Also in front of the couch is a custom epoxy-coated teak table on a hi/low base. The 32" TV faces the couch and can be rotated to face the helm area for viewing there as well. Deck Equipment All exterior gunwales, bow as well as upper and lower cockpits and swim platform have Flexiteek installed. It looks just like new teak without the upkeep and maintenance teak requires. A clever design to hide the cable and water hose includes two hatches on the cockpit floor which contain them for no tripping or unsightly cables in the cockpit. The Meridian name boards were originally plastic which during buffing were susceptible to damage and were replaced with highly polished solid stainless-steel. Anchor The anchor is the highly regarded Ultra Anchor with its optional swivel, so the anchor always comes up in the proper position. This famed Turkish stainless steel anchor's design holds ground better than any other anchor in it’s class. The first 5 feet of chain is polished stainless steel, so it looks great being visible up at the windless. The plastic anchor control covers on the bow have been replaced with polished stainless-steel covers. Additional Equipment Entertainment Equipment This vessel has a stereo system designed by a high-fidelity expert. It has a Fusion large screen LCD head unit at the helm and two remote LCD panels on the upper cockpit and one at the lower cockpit for full control. The Fusion remote units are on the NEMA network, so they can display any NEMA data, such as wind speed and direction. It has JL audio speakers through the exterior of the boat with two 12" subwoofers. Amplifiers power each of the speakers with clean power. Galley The Galley has a large Kenyon cooktop as well as a large refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. The galley also has plenty of counter space for enjoyable onboard cooking. Mechanical Equipment Engine Room All lighting in the engine room is LED. All maintenance is up to date, including the cleaning of the after coolers (port side aftercooler is new) and heat exchangers. Sherwood water pumps have been upgraded to the more dependable SMX pumps with easy-to-change impellers (not using splines or key way) but a special tool to make removal and insertion easy. The boat has a Reverso electric oil changer system. All seacocks have Groco valves which allow for pull-out plugs for easy winterization. The original float design for waste tank monitoring has been replaced by an ultrasonic device for accurate readings without the usual issues a float presents. Waste level are displayed on digital monitor. Air Conditioning All four A/C units have been replaced recently with new Cruisair units. These units have plastic pans which do not corrode or leave rust stains down the side of the boat on raw water outlets. The A/C pump is oversized and new as of 2020. Electrical Equipment Generator: Onan 9 kW Model 9MDKAV-2743 The interior electrical panel like the rest of the vessel has been fully upgraded with numerous LCD panels for all conditions of the boat and battery charging systems. Since some of the displays are on the NEMA network even all weather information including wind speed and direction can be shown as well as any other NEMA data. Underwater lighting i state-of-the-art. All lights are Lumishore with infinite color-changing capabilities. There are four large lights on the stern and two lights one on the port and one on the starboard side. A computer mainframe controls all the lighting with a DMX controller like those used at rock concerts for multiple effects. An LCD Lumishore light control panel is on the platform extension. Control can also be done with an iPad using custom software. The Custom stainless vessel name "Prime Time" also lights up and is interfaced with the DMX system and can be synced to follow the colors of the underwater lights as well as many other lighting modes. If the name of the boat changes, the existing wiring can be used for new vessel name. Even the horns have been upgraded to Khalenberg air horns loud enough to get the attention of any size vessel. Security systems The vessel has an alarm system with all exterior doors as well as a contact that sets off the alarm if the canvas cover for the helm electronics panel is removed. There are 4 blinking red LEDs at all entry points when the alarm is armed. A keyless wireless remote arms/disarms. Also there are port and stbd forward facing cameras and two aft facing cameras which record to a DVR. These cameras can also be displayed on chartplotter or helm TV for assistance when docking The Vessel has a new 2021 ACR full-size EPIRB. Salon The salon has two opposing couches with the port side couch having 3 pull-out footrests. Storage is under the starboard couch. All woodwork throughout the boat is cherry and in outstanding condition. All carpeting in the boat is excellent and stain-free. The salon has a 32" 4K HDTV with a Yamaha receiver and Dish Network equipment hidden in a cabinet. Four speakers are in the salon, with two subwoofers under the couch for surround sound. There is also a CD changer with AM/FM radio under the TV. Stairs leading to the galley and bow stateroom lift up where the washer/Dryer and central vac system is located. Accommodations Owner Stateroom: The owner's stateroom is a few steps down from the salon back aft. The stateroom provides ample hanging closet space, a large bed with easy access on both sides, a large window for plenty of light into the aft cockpit, a large head, and a separate shower space. VIP Stateroom: Forward of the galley is the VIP Stateroom with ensuite head, sink, and a separate enclosed stall shower. There is a separate door leading to the head from the salon for “day head” access. The aft-facing sleeping area has easy accessibility from port or starboard and plenty of storage lockers/closets. Helm Area: Above the salon is the helm area and lounge. Visibility is excellent and incorporates plenty of seating, a fridge, and a large flat screen TV on a movable hinge. The flat screen TV can be rotated to face either the helm or the upper cockpit. For ease of maneuvering, the TV, when facing the helm, can display port and starboard views of the sides of the vessel at the same time on a split screen. The original Yanmar 3JH2E engine has 1080 hours on her. The wind, nav, depth, and autopilot are B&G instruments. Radar is Furuno. Has a Maxwell windless. Has a Heart Interface Freedom 25 converter/30A-battery charger. Put in 5 new batteries in 2016. Solar Panel to trickle charge battery bank #1. Has a Nauti Kold cold box that works great and is very efficient. Has a Cruisair air conditioning system that has been keeping things nice and cool (new in 2009). Flat screen TV, DVD player, and AM/FM CD player. There are 24 aluminum folding steps that have been mounted all the way up to the mast head to make single handed maintenance a lot easier. Two extremely special Island Packet name and logo stainless steel fancy step plates were installed to make going aboard on the port or starboard side, that much more special. Purchased in 2003, upgraded and always kept everything in excellent condition until 3 years ago when I stopped sailing. Since then, I periodically run the engine at the dock, keep up on bottom cleaning, and keep a/c running 24/7. The engine runs great. The transmission is stuck in forward (not the cable). The trans never had a problem before this period of me not using my boat. The bow-thruster needs replacing (a great feature to have). Original sails are in good shape but sheet lines could use replacing. The Bimini Top is removed due to a rip and the zipper becoming unstitched. Dodger's plastic windows are foggy. Inside teak is beautiful but the outside teak needs the remaining varnish removed and reapplied. The complete interior looks brand new and has no foul smells. The bottom needs repainting. I got an estimate of $3811 to replace the bow thruster. Bottom paint job and a boat haul have cost about $1000 in the past. I guesstimate to remove, repair, and install the transmission could cost about $2500. I choose to Document (thru the US Coast Guard) this IP-350 in 2003 versus titling it in the state because of these advantages:1- Provides clear history of ownership and priority when obtaining a loan.2- Affords international rights, privileges, and protections when in international waters, 3- Easier and less expense of ownership and cost to transfer of ownership, and of course no need to deal with DMV.4- Required for certain usages, Additionally includes: Unused 8.5' dingy purchased in 2014 and has Mercury outboard that can store on a IP-350's stern rail mount. Both have been stored indoors. All manuals and documents for every component, kept well filed in an Island Packet documents bag. All receipts and files from time of purchase in 2003. Two large plastic bins that contain lots and lots of spare maintenance parts. New condition and unused spare dodger (but in yellow). Sail bags, 10 one inch thick dock lines, life jackets, dock poles, grill that mounts at stern, safety equipment and much more. This IP-350 is documented, which has many advantages (1- Priority in obtaining a loan due to clear history of ownership, 2- Affords international rights, privileges, and protections when in international waters, 3- Required for certain usages, 4- Easy transfer without need to register with DMV. Additionally includes: Unused 8.5' dingy purchased in 2014 and has Mercury outboard that can store on a IP-350's stern rail mount.
