1994 Monterey 225SCR,This boat is in great condition. I've recently replaced the motor with a complete new 5.7L marine engine. I also had the Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrive completely gone through. The engine/drive have 48 hours on them. I had full intentions of keeping this boat. Plans have changed. It has a nice stereo in it with 4 6x9 speakers, 2 6" speakers, 300 watt amp and powered sub woofer. The "mini" galley has a manual pump sink and small area to work in. We've spent a few weekends on her. Also comes with the bimini top, snap on cockpit cover, factory "foul weather" cover, a brand new port-a-potty and an a brand new set of standard pitch props. The pair that are on there now are one step under for better mileage. The downside is that she tops out at about 40mph instead of about 50 with the standard pitch. I don't care about going fast. We can play all weekend on the 35 gal gas tank and still have gas left over. Has two fairly new batteries in it with a 1/2/all battery switch. The wheels and tires are pretty recent with less than a few hundred miles on them. I also have a spare that goes with it. The trailer has LED rear lights and new bow strap. Everything works great with the exception of the tilt gauge. I've tried to get it to work but to no avail. I've replaced the gauge, sender, black box and even had the dealer try.. it's just a mystery. Tilt control works just fine and automatically shuts off when fully raised. The boat has been well maintained but it is 20 years old. There are some small nicks and surface cracks. The interior is in great shape. As you can see, we had to recover one of the cushions. The previous owner must have used it as a ski boat and tore up the cushion with skis. The boat has lots of storage area under the passenger seats and side panels. "Low ballers" will be ignored.
