The overall condition of the 1998 Monterey 262 Cruiser if good to very good. The hull gelcoat was found to be in good shape free of any major scratches, cracks, or gouges with exception of some gelcoat rash on the starboard side at the MC numbers. The upholstery inside and out was found to be clean and in good condition with no rips, tears or stitching issues detected. The canvas and Isinglass were found to be in fair to good condition. Powered by a Mercruiser 5.7L engine with a Bravo Three dual prop it has the power to carry your crew to your destination. The double wide helm seat has a corresponding rear facing that can be folded down to make a sun lounge. The dash is outfitted with all the necessary gauges and switches to run and monitor the boat. In addition, there is a dash mounted compass, separate depth finder, a VHF and a Garmin GPS/Fishfinder. Next to the helm is a rear facing lounger and a wet bar with sink. The boat is solid all around. The upholstery is in good shape, and the back rest for the aft bench needs to be repaired. The bow sun pad shows regular wear. The gauges are working, and are cloudy, some of them hard to read. Both GPS units are working properly, as well as the VHF. The cabin is clean. The upholstery shows some wear on the forward berth cushions. The head is clean, and the toilet is missing the lid. The carpet in the middle area was removed. The mid berth is in good shape, there are some stains on the headliner. All the lights are working. The engine appears to be in good running condition. The zincs were recently replaced, and the seller has a diver clean the bottom every month.
