The Vessel has been maintained well, and has installed many new components, or has back-up systems ready to put in service. All rigging is serviceable, and she is ready to sail. The electrical system was re-wired in 2010, and the upholstery was redone in 2009. Woodwork needs to be brightened up - it is starting to show some age. The Canvas needs repair and cleaning. Bottom was painted in 2005 with an experimental barrier coat to rectify notorious Morgan blistering. On next haul-out in 2008 seller applied five coats of paint and there were no blisters. On the last haul-out in 2012, there was absolutely no blistering. Owner is planning another haul-out this year. Haulout in 2021 showed only a few blisters. A great deal of time and money was invested preparing the boat for a trip to Hawaii. Although this trip had to be abandoned for personal reasons she is still ready for the voyage. Stock #089662 Wonderful Liveaboard or Turn-Key Bluewater Cruiser! New Engine (161 hours!) New Standing Rigging (Used 10 times!) $55k+ in Upgrades & Replacements! This classic full modified keel Morgan 33 Out Island must be seen to be appreciated and will make a wonderful liveaboard or blue water cruiser. She is ready to go! Since 2006, the seller has put $50k+into her in upgrades and replacements and has all records and receipts. With a newer engine with very low hours, new sails, and more, this sturdy and reliable sloop is ready for new adventures! This beauty has a pedigree of having sailed from Florida to Oregon via Cape Horn. If you have been thinking about your special trip to Hawaii, Mexico, or just around the coastal US or Canada but don't want to have to invest in all the gear for a long-distance voyage, this might be the perfect boat for you. The seller believes the standing rigging was replaced prior to purchase in 2006 but there is no documentation of this. The rigging still looks to be in great condition and has only been used about 10 times since replacement. The Morgan Out Island is a classic design from a builder with a tradition for building rugged, go-anywhere sailboats with a large volume of living space. If you don't know the Out Island history, this is a classic boat with an excellent reputation for a quality build. Its full keel and shallow draft make it a great choice for cruising the Islands, and the storage and headroom make her practical as a liveaboard as well. If you are looking for comfort at the expense of some sailing performance, the Out Island is for you. Having said that, the current owner of this vessel has had her point 30-35 degrees into the wind in 12kt wind while making 7kts over the ground with about 15 to 20 heal. The new sails have only been used about 10 times since purchasing. The quarter berth can sleep one and the V-berth is comfortable to sleep two. There is also a custom enclosed entertainment center. Reason for selling is change in life circumstances.

1968 Morgan 30 Centerboard sloop Here is an opportunity to purchase one of Charlie Morgan’s best efforts for the correct buyer, a buyer with some carpentry skills and some serious foresight. Of course this is the 1968 Morgan 30 lying in Stratford CT. The Morgan 30 is a centerboard sloop with a reputation of being a steady sailor with good sea keeping qualities and more ballast than most boats. They are prized by the offshore pocket cruising crowd as being well found and having a good heart. This Morgan 30 is a work in process. She has been on the hard for the past four years undergoing some work. The good news is that the heavy lifting has been done with a soda blasted bottom, new rudder shaft bearings and well, new sea cocks, Beta Marine Diesel, new aluminum fuel tank, mast refurbishment, new standing rigging, and refurbished centerboard. Not to worry, there is plenty more to do for a competent shipwright. She needs a new roller furling gear or forestay depending upon your preferences. There is plenty of cabinet work to do below, enough to hone your skills with a jigsaw and a plane. You will have the opportunity to design your own interior lighting, learn how to wire the tank tender or the shore power. Again the heavy lifting has been done, but now there is the grunt work to do. An opportunity for some, a challenge for others, this is a great opportunity to get in on a wonderful shallow draft cruiser where sweat equity counts. When she is done, she will be a shallow water dream, perfect for the Chesapeake or the Bahamas.

1977 Morgan Starrett & Jenks Aft Cockpit The Morgan designed Starrett & Jenks 45 aft cockpit is one of the most undervalued blue water ocean cruisers on the market.  She is a well built hull designed for long distance offshore racing yet well fit as a fast, solid and secure cruiser capable of long ocean passages.  "Nirvana" has a full encapsulated lead keel with a cut-away forefoot providing directional stability in testing conditions.  The absolutely beautiful interior was built out by a well experienced South African marine carpenter with joinery executed to a very high standard.  Beautiful Cabinetry with lots of drawers 'n closets for storage. All wiring, mechanical and vessel systems were renewed in 1999 to 2000.  Current owner of 30 years!  Shows very well. Complete bottom job and hull buff 'n waxed in 2017.

1987 Morgan 1987 Classic 41 Center Cockpit A Charley Morgan designed Morgan Classic 41, owned by well-known author Kim Hess of Yoga Onboard and musician Eric Stone. Carry on their tradition of living the sailing lifestyle aboard "Rainbow Connection!" The Morgan Classic 41 was the upgrade to the Out Island model, with a larger u-shaped galley, a fin keel for improved performance (though still integral to the hull), a sit down nav station, and a full separate shower in the aft cabin, making this vessel much more family friendly and comfortable. This particular vessel chartered with the boy scouts for 16 years, putting smiles on the faces of many groups or youths. She has made the current owners very happy as well, providing a floating home first to Kim and later to Kim and Eric and their two parrots, Harley and Marley. They love this vessel, but with changing lives, two Macaws, and a musician's tour schedule, they have chosen to continue cruising, but on land...moving from the boat to a bus. The boat is currently in Marathon, Florida, and will either stay there, or be moved to the Sarasota area in early June. If you are interested, act fast.
