1967 Nautor Swan Sloop “CURRENT PRICE” IS A GUIDE.  ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED. General Description Swan 36 is a GRP constructed, fin keeled, one tonner masthead sloop and it is the first Swan sailing yacht ever produced. Production continued until 1971 with a total of 90 Swan 36 boats being built. The yacht was designed by Sparkman & Stephens who were the number one designers in the world at the time and also the designers of the first 775 Swan yachts built by Nautor. Its racing success is very much based on the designer's well timed decision to use a separate fin keel and rudder as opposed to the traditional full keel arrangement. This reduced the wetted surface area of the hull and thus also the frictional drag, which made the yacht faster and with the rudder placed further aft also more agile. Despite separate fin keel and a rudder had been used before in some of the Sparkman & Stephens' lighter sailboat designs such as the Lightning, this was the first time this arrangement was successfully used in production keelboats. For a short period of time this application made Swan 36 one of the fastest commercially available sailing yachts of its size and with a skilled crew she became the one to beat in the international sailing regattas. These yachts gained international recognition in 1968 when a Swan scored a result that no one had done before and won all seven starts of the year's Cowes Week regatta. 1972 Nautor's Swan 48 Sloop “CONSTELLATION” has a long nautical history and has played a very important part in the sailing and military heritage of the USA.  The United States Naval Academy owned this beautiful sailboat from December, 1979 to December, 1997, when it was sold to the current owner. She was sailed and won the 653-mile Newport-to-Bermuda Race for the first time in Naval Academy history in June, 1992, with Ensign Kyle Weaver at the helm along with his 8 midshipmen crew.  Ensign Weaver was the youngest skipper to win this race and bring home the St. David's Lighthouse Trophy.  This incredible accomplishment is still remembered among midshipmen everywhere. Today, Commander Weaver is still serving his country in the US Navy. The “CONSTELLATION” was designed by Sparkman & Stephens of New York and built in 1972 (Hull 11) in Finland with the Swan “Passion for Craftsmanship”.  Nautor’s Swan has been the true sailor’s choice for close to a half a century by designing and building luxurious, high performance yachts in Northern Finland. Swan has a strong heritage, skilled craftsmen, and pursuit of excellence in every aspect of the build. The current owner took three (3) years refitting the “CONSTELLATION” in order to make her comfortable for cruising, mechanically sound, and capable of sailing any blue water challenge.  Since 1997, the boat has received complete upgrades and refits including new teak decks, total new electrical wiring, new plumbing, new stainless steel fuel tanks, new water and holding tanks, new Yanmar 76HP turbo engine, new Panda 3.9KW Generator, which is located is a custom slide-out cabinet for easy access.  She has been refitted with (2) Barient 28 3-speed coffee grinders, (2) Andersen 62ST 2-speed electric winches, (2) air conditioning/heating compressors, water maker (virgin, never used), Zeda water purifier, and the list goes on and on.  “CONSTELLATION” is a cutter rig with only 46 having been built from 1971-1975. The original boat design was changed in the 1990’s and is now known as a Nautor’s Swan 48-2 with emphasis on cruising versus racing, although the racing prowess and success is achievable, if desired.  The “CONSTELLATION” is a once in a life time opportunity to own a part of America’s United States Naval Academy heritage and still enjoy a magnificent cruising wonder and adventure on any of the world’s waters. We are very proud to represent this pristine Swan 48 and welcome the opportunity to show her to you. Give us a call. You will not be disappointed! BE SURE TO OPE

1998 Nautor Swan SWAN 44 Mk II The CALLISTO is easily the finest and most sophisticated example of this popular German Frers design to be presented on the brokerage market for quite some time. The very successful SWAN 44 Mk II was first introduced in 1996 until production was ended in 2002 with a total of (69) Swan 44 Mk I / II examples being produced. Delivered to her first Owners as the WENDEN in the Fall of 1998 and now as the CALLISTO for her second Owners in 2007, this SWAN 44 Mk II is the 38th example produced and the 19th "Mk II". The CALLISTO is an impressively-nice presentation with her beautiful Dark Blue gelcoat topsides, properly-maintained teak decks and with the usual superb NAUTOR varnished teak interior. A number of features incorporated at her time of build by NAUTOR combine to uniquely position the CALLISTO from her peers that result in her enhanced  performance, the improved ability to be managed by a light crew and with custom interior details for added utility & comfort. She was the first SWAN 44 Mk II to have a number of specific improvements that include the Carbon Tall Rig option, a customized mainsheet setup that includes an aft-mounted traveler system (vis the standard cabin top arrangement), custom blade jib tracks forward, a custom Galley & refrigeration system that eliminated the old "front-open only" unit, custom modifications to the Nav Station & storage to provide a larger work space, reversing the Main Salon layout to have the Sea Berth positioned to starboard vis to port for better access, a removable Pilot Berth for the port side .. and we're just getting started with the details of the exceptional SWAN 44 Mk II CALLISTO!   Only lightly cruised & day-sailed since her racing triumphs through 2001 as the WENDEN and also after the present Owners purchased her in 2007, the CALLISTO is still prepared to "do it all". She's presented with notable system upgrades as well as her full inventory complement of B&G System 2000 performance instrumentation, newer FURUNO navigation electronics & ICOM communications, all new batteries & interior cushions for the Man Salon, a NORTH SAILS inventory, (3) HARKEN electric winches for cruising & competitive racing as well. Combine this with her past & present Owners' diligent maintenance programs, the end result is most impressive. Given the virtues of the SWAN 44 Mk II design details, and combining both the NAUTOR and FRERS pedigrees and the special attributes of the CALLISTO's Factory Option and Owner enhancem

1970 Swan 43,Ocean Ready Classic Swan! The vessel, Omuramba has had a storied career, having early on been an ocean racer with a highly respected reputation. Originally commissioned for the chief magistrate of Namibia. Subsequent to her retirement from ocean racing, she completed a circumnavigation of the earth. The vessel was designed by Olin Stephens with Nautor Swan producing 67 of them between 1967 and 1972.For long distance ocean passages the hull shape is excellent, with a swept fin keel, a skeg hung rudder well aft, a fine deeply veed entry, and long overhangs. The resulting hull shape is very seaworthy and sea-kindly. Very few modern vessel are as comfortable at sea, less have the attractive classical lines, and none are as strongly built. She has been tenderly cared for for almost 17 years, with full deck and rigging renovations in 2009 by the existing owner. She is equipped with an original Aries wind vane steering system, has a wind generator for your power needs, 3000 Watt invertor, SEA single side band radio, VHF radio, auto-pilot, GPS and an in cockpit radar. She is ready for her next adventure!Survey done in September 2014 available. $230,000, 2033879908
