2009 Navigator 5800 Pilothouse Navigator Yachts hull shape was designed with one thing in mind: make the best use of a minimum amount of fuel and horsepower, and retain the maximum amount of boat speed and efficiency. In doing so, Navigator created a wide hull shape that is stable at rest and at displacement speed, while achieving 30% less wetted running surface when on a plane. The result is a hull with much less drag, a significantly smoother ride, and far better fuel economy. This low hour 2009 5800 is the one and only 58 ever produced (to our knowledge) with Volvo 575's, a centerline master and the extended seating section on the bridge. Navigator Yachts were built for rough water use and designed with comfort, quality and efficency as the backbone of their brand. You will have a difficult time finding a yacht with like features and space, built with this workmanship, for a price even remotely close to what you see now. This yacht was sold new by Ugly Johns and has spent it's entire life under covered docks on Grand Lake, in Oklahoma. All service has been done by our Volvo Certified team. With under 100 hours on the motors and 240 on the 19kw Kohler Diesel generator, the boat has clearly had a very easy life. It is well equipped and ready for use, wherever you may choose to take her. This Classic Pilothouse is a popular design and layout for obvious reasons: the style is timeless, the accomodations luxurious - you can sleep two families with children in three private cabins. The owner's stateroom has a large queen-sized bed and the forward cabin has a centerline full-sized berth, and the center cabin has 2 bunks; these 2 cabins share a large guest head with stall shower, while the owner's cabin has a private bath and shower - complete with entertainment center and lots of hanging lockers. The pilothouse setup on this vessel allows for great visibility aft through the salon all the way to the cockpit and swimstep. The flybridge is accessed by way of an inner stairway from the pilothouse helm; there is a lot of seating on the flybridge and the RIB is stored there with an electric crane.
