2002 ProKat 2860SC 2002 Prokat 2860SC, ** Repowered 2014 This is a phenomenal fishing/family boat that I've owned, lift-kept, for about 10 years. It was repowered in 2014 with Twin 250 Suzuki 4-strokes, which have 4 years left on the factory warranty.We've cruised all over just about every inch of Pine Island Sound / Charlotte Harbor. The cat hull rides smooth on bay chop, and it's easy to beach on the barrier islands (or anchor in a couple of feet of water just offshore if you prefer). It's also a tough vessel that is a veteran of numerous offshore passages to the Bahamas and Florida Keys over the years. It's set up great for fishing, with a large cockpit free of obstacles, numerous rod holders, two huge fish boxes with macerators, a flybridge, and stainless outriggers up top (which I currently have removed and in storage).For family comfort, we added an extended sun cover that keeps the passengers in shade while underway. Like most cats, it has a nice wide beam, and high freeboard makes it easy and safe to move around even with 6-8 people on board. Plus, the two bunk cuddy is great for storing gear and giving the kids a place to duck out of the sun for a while.I've put more than $50k into the boat over the past two years to repower it with twin Suzuki 250s, run new cables, wiring, batteries, pumps, etc. I chose to repower rather than get a new boat when the original outboards started to go because I love the layout and ride of the hull so much. The Sukes have another 4 years or so on the original factory warranty.The asking price is basically what I paid to repower it in 2014, and reflects the fact that I need to sell it quickly as I am moving out of state.Crazy shallow draft (~13"), cruise 30kt, top speed ~ 40kt.There is some minor cosmetic work left to the new owner (replace seat cushions, fix freshwater washdown, etc), but there are no big surprises. I'd love to find it a good new home quickly. $45000

Put boat in the water after purchase of 200 XL Mariner, started up and left in water while I parked the truck and trailer. Came down to dock and Alarm was going off. The outboard overheated. Took it to a boat mechanic went over the outboard and through a compression check, he found 3 of the cylinders were 0-15 psi so she is in need of a new or rebuilt powerhead. Solid hull with a solid transom Keel is in really good condition little beaching and no accidents Almost no dock rash on the hull No wood in the construction and an unsinkable amount of foam Many really nice hatches and compartments that are molded and feature drains, keys for stainless hatch locks are included All of the original manufacturer wiring harness is intact and survived with very little manipulation. All of the original bilge and livewell pumps are present and functional. Entire original fuel system is intact and operational out to motor well The entire no-skid molded floor is in pretty good shape and cleans up nice. One of the most heavy duty trailers I have seen. It is in really well maintained condition. I bet this trailer could handle a 5 ton boat. large aerated bait tank is attached to helm seat frame.
