Using computer controlled process management for consistency, the I-Beam Stingers and transom cores are reacted in high pressure steel cavity molds. Next, the stringers and transom cores are removed from the molds and vigorously inspected before placement in our boats. Other builders cut a corner here by simply injecting foam into hidden cavities making inspection of the final product impossible. No other boat company in the world uses as many sophisticated steel molds as we do. We build every one of our boat molds in-house from a wood master pattern. These molds are then coated with a copolymer release agent. We built the finest high flow paint booths and utilize the latest designs in flow-coater technology to achieve a superior gel coat finish in all Sundance Boats. After the gel coat and a skin coat of fiberglass are applied, and the strakes are filled with fiberglass putty, the high density urethane foam transom core is glassed in place. Our transom core is the strongest and most durable on the market today. Then we hand lay woven roving in the hull and begin laminating the foam I -Beam stringers. More layers of woven roving go on top of the foam preforms to make a solid integrated sandwich that is incredibly strong and virtually unsinkable. The hull is made entirely of fiberglass and structural foams – there is no wood in the hull structure to rot. After the hulls and decks are pulled from the molds, these parts are joined together with associated hardware in our final assembly department. I have had this boat for 8yrs and have used it every year. We have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it but have purchased a larger boat and no longer have a use for it. I have seen other boats just like mine on here for $3500.00 with a 15hp and no trailer. Someone will be getting a good deal on this boat. The boat is in good cond - no leaks or tears. The fabric has some minor dulling due to being 8yrs old. The motor runs strong and starts with no problems. The trailer is in great cond and is very easy to launch and load the boat - it pulls straight and there are no problems with it. The Mercury Heavy Duty Inflatable Boat is ideal for professional or serious sport uses on the water. The heavy-duty construction, high performance design and, ocean ready features make this boat much more than a portable boat. Equipped with adjustable track mounted cargo attachment points, six external heavy duty carry handle for easy transport and launching, non-slop wear patches for additional grip, and grab ropes around the entire boat for easy entry/exit, make the boat perfect for just about any any of your needs. The boat can carry up to six passesngers and a maximum of 1,720 pounds with up to a 25-horepower motor (which is what is on the boat for sale). There are three different air changes and an inflatable keel for except performance and handling. The 17-inch tubes are soft for easy roll of and re-entry and make the boat very stable on the open water. We have used the boat all over - from inland to Lake Michigan and have never felt nervous with any type of conditions. Boat had the lower end of the engine completely rebuilt (all service history included) two years ago, and has not been run since due to family commitments. Includes Trailer.
