2005 Starlite Custom Coastal Cat Houseboat The Fabulous Affair is a custom-designed 63' Starlite 2005 Aluminum Catamaran that was built for use in Coastal salt water operation. The hull is reinforced and the high shear of the hulls and bow are designed for coastal cruising. Her modified stern and transom with heavy-duty hinged swim ladder is intended to make this yacht a great snorkel, dive boat and/or excursion party vessel with easy boarding from a launch or after diving. A major refit was completed in 2010 in preparation for Coast Guard "T" boat certification, 50 passengers with 10 live aboard guests in mind. Railing heights and other structural safety requirements for compliance with USCG commercial regulations are completed. Refit included; 4 new luxury staterooms, commercial galley & topside Tiki Bar. Two Full heads, three showers, and 4 staterooms plus 2 crew quarters provide plenty of room for large parties or extended family getaways. All internal walls are made of fiberglass and consistent with the original materials used by Starlite in the shipyard. The only major requirement remaining to be completed if you want this to be used as a USCG inspected vessel is development of detailed naval architectural drawings of the vessel, which the Seller does not have. However, Fabulous Affair meets or exceeds most ABYC standards as a recreational yacht or for commercial use with a 6-Pack Captain's License. Powered with twin Cummins Mercruiser 1.7 DTi (@ 120 HP) Turbo Charged, inter-cooled diesel engines and a 12kW diesel Westerbeke Generator, Fabulous Affair is economical to operate and maintain. The interior is fully air conditioned and large opening windows provide plenty of light and fresh air when the A/C or heat is not needed. All windows have custom shades. 1988 Winner 22 center console 2009 250HP E-TEC with only 195 hours as of April 2015. (serial number is late 2008. I have been told it is considered a 2009 model. It was installed in 2009.) 22 foot Winner all fiberglass hull with big custom dive platform. Overall length from tip of anchor pulpit to rear of motor is about 26-27 feet. Top speed around 45 depending on load and how much fuel is in her. I typically cruise at 30mph at 42-4300 rpms. My average fuel economy is around 2.5 mpg. The E-tec can be set at 50 to 1 or 100 to 1. It is set at 100 to 1 so your oil really lasts. The motor has a very nice sound to it and is quiet enough to easily talk and hear over at any speed. Check out Winner at www.thehulltruth.com and you will find tons of people saying what an excellent boat Winner is. This boat has been fitted with a custom dive platform with a molded gill bracket. She has a color Furuno bottom finder that works great! The Furuno chart plotter has something wrong with it. We are the second owners since the E-Tec 250 was put on in 2009. It had about 115 hours on it when we bought it. We took it to Top Cat Marine in Land O Lakes where the motor came from and it needed nothing. I have attached a copy of the print out I just had Riverside Marine do for me to provide proof of 195 hours and no current needs for service. The previous owner told me he had a 100 gallon plastic fuel tank put in when the dive plat was installed. I have never ran it out to confirm. New canvass on T-top and new vinyl on all cushions is in excellent condition. Rocket launchers plus all other rod holders I think is 16 total. Scuba tank holders equal 8. 30 gallon live well with constant clean water. Not re-circulating old water. Tons of storage hatches. Also storage in leaning seat. Big compass with light. Trim tabs. Big storage inside center console. (Enough room for a private porta potty if you wanted to. Remote control spot light on front of pulpit, forward big deck flood light, rear spreader flood lights, floor cockpit lights. Steaming light on top of T-top and of course all bow and stern navigation lights. Tandem axle heavy duty Aluminum I-beam trailer. I will check but I think is a 2008. It is in excellent shape.
